I'm sure you heard, but just in case...the show was nominated for a Golden Globe for Best Drama. Pretty amazing for zombie material.

The Season one DVD is available for pre-order at Amazon. Probably also available at your favorite on- or off-line vendor. I haven't committed to buying it, but I may; it was just that good.

There's a season one marathon Friday night on AMC, starting at 8 eastern and pacific, 7 central and mountain.

An interview with Robert Kirkman about season 2. He pretty much confirms we'll be waiting 'til October for the premiere.

DAMMIT! I want to watch it noooooowwwww....

Oh well. I'll just content myself with the graphic novels, which if anyone hasn't read it....I couldn't recommend it more! So damned good.

Plenty of Walking Dead stuff at C2E2, including the little tidbit that Stephen King may write an episode. As long as he doesn't direct the episode, yay! Shooting for season 2 starts June 1.

An interview with Robert Kirkman at The Hollywood Reporter, wherein he dispels the 'all freelance writers' myth and suggests a Stephen King-penned episode is still in the works, among other things. Good read.

Awesome, Sam! Thanks!

I'm counting down the days until this show comes back! I've read all of the graphic novels (up to #75) and I bought the first season on DVD a couple of weeks ago.

I am for real obsessed with this show.

Couple more little blurbs as we approach the start of filming. This one hints at new characters and this one talks about possible budget cuts for the upcoming season. Neither one is particularly spoilery. And I hope the folks at AMC grasp the concept of not killing the golden goose.

I absolutely love --->Maggie. Her relationship with Glen is definitely a bright spot in the whole series. I'm not very fond of Hershel, her dad. He's kinda intense. It'll be interesting seeing what they do with him, though.<---

AMC has posted a couple of pics of season two's walkers. Interesting eye prosthetics in that fist pic.

Oh, man, having this guy is great news. Spoiler-y stuff, obviously.

A set visit with Robert Kirkman. Fun guy, I'd say. Be careful though, that picture of Lauren Cohan could cause blindness.
