Cordelia hugs Groo, tightly welcoming her prince. Angel goes upstairs with Lorne the only one noticing. Angel goes to Conner's room and finds his baby waking up. Angel holds the baby in his hands.
"Groo, is back, its good for cordy right?" Angel asks Connor. Kinda expecting an answer from him. " this is for the best, what can I offer her, she lovv....." Angel can't even finish the sentence. "Come on Connor lets try and get some sleep its been an interest day." Angel putting the baby back into his crib.
The next morning Angel woke-up and descended downstairs, he found Wes and Fred eating breakfast. Angel looked at the clock wondering where cordy is.
"Where's Cordelia?" he asked. "She asked for the day to spend it with Groo," wes answered. "And you gave it to her!" he asked upset. "Yes," Wes answered. "That's just great" angel said to himself.
"I for one is surprised that groo came to LA, I mean I know he said it was for Cordy but I don't trust many people from Pyla well except Lorne," Fred said. "Well, that means a lot honey cup," lorne said coming from the kitchen. "But I must agree here with Freddie, he only told me he came back for his true love, but I am not sure," Lorne said.
"Can we please stop hearing the phrase 'true love' angel said. Everyone turn to him and looked at him surprised.
"Well, changing subject, their is this demon who has been killing vampires, for vengeance, the news is that most of the vamps are noticing this and a fleeing LA," Wes said.
"Well, isn't that a good things, I mean all the vampires leaving." Fred said. "Well, it wouldn't be our problem, but the problem is where they are heading," Wed continued.
"Where are they going?" Angel asked. "They are heading to Sunnydale." he said.
"Why would they head to Sunnydale, Buffy is their, she would stake them when she has the chance," Angel said. "True, but the again Sunnydale is infested with demons and vampires so the scooby gang has its hands full." Wes said.
Before they could continue their conversation Cordy and Groo come in all lovy-dubby and Angel can't stand it so he decided to go into the office.
"Wait, I need to talk to Angel," Cordy running after. Cordy shuts the door to talk to Angel.
"Angel we need to talk," she says. "About?" he answered. "Groo." she replies. "MY least favorite subject," Angel said. "What did you, I didn't hear you," cordy ask. "Nothing, what do you need," he ask. " I need you to help me have sex," she says. "You want me to help you have what?" he says slowly. "SEX," she says. Wes comes into the room, hearing the last word Cordy said. "Sorry to interrupt, but Angel its Willow on the phone," wes give angel the phone. Cordy wonders why Willow is calling, usually when she calls its bad news.
Lorne take Groo out to the patio, Lorne is trying any way possible to make Groo sing, when Lorne leaves him for a while Groo start humming to an old Pyla song. Lorne manages to come back just in time. "That's exactly what I thought, now to see Cordy believe it herself."
"What did Willow want?" Cordy asks. "I'm going to Sunnydale," Angel said. "The infestation of vamps and demons is getting worse they need help," he says. "Then we are going with you," Wes says. "We are going back to Sunnydale," Cordy said with no excitement. "I'll call Gunn," Wesley said. "Are we taking Connor?" Cordy asks. "I don't want to leave him here alone with just Lorne, tell Lorne he is going with us to take care of Connor." Angel states. Cordy gives him a look. "If he wants too? ofcourse" he adds. "Better," Cordy says.
Cordelia looks for Lorne but instead finds Groo humming to the same song. Lorne comes right behind cordy and puts his hands on her head. The same way did when she was in a coma but this time from behind. Cordy sense everything from Lorne including Groo, his thoughts.. He is using her. Cordy enraged lets go of Lorne and rushes to Groo.
"How dare you! I actually liked you and I thought we could be more, but you just want to have sex with me because you want my visions! So you can return to Pylea and be someone important," Cordelia yelled. "Get OUT, Get OUT of the hotel or I will........I will tell Angel and he will beat you up, " cordy said. "I am not afraid of that vampire," groo said. "You should, " angel said appearing from a dark corner. "You can't figt me in the sunglight," groo said.. Cordy pushed groo into the hotel. Cordy watched her champion beat the crap out of Groo. Her champion, only hers.
After a couple of minutes Groo had left and Cordelia managed to have Angel, Connor and herself packed and ready to go to Sunnydale. Fred was ready so was Lorne and Wes. The only one not their was Gunn, "Sorry I am late," he said comming in. "didn't know what to pack, light colors or dark," he said. Fred just laughed. "Well at least someone got my joke," he said. "If we leave now, we should get their at 7 the sun is down by that time." angel said putting the baby in the car seat. Cordelia, Fred and Connor sat infront with angel. They all managed to fit in the front with the baby car seat. Gunn, Wes, and Lorne sat in the back, Gunn wasn't really happy about it he wanted to seat with Fred.
Cordy tried to strike up a conversation with Angel about Buffy, it was kinda worrying her how he would react to her again, I mean she knew that they already saw it each other, but it still worried her. And how she was going to react to see Xander. "The scooby gang has no idea what we have been through." Cordy told Angel.
"I know, but what do you want us to do, they need our help, think of it as case." he said.
"A case, with Buffy!" she said outloud. "Since when do you have something against Buffy," he asked. She looked at him how could he answere him without stating the obvious. "Since you had something against Groo," is all she said. Angel didn't want to argue with Cordy so he let the subject go.
It was around seven and the gang had arrived on time. Angel went straight to Buffy's house since that's the only address Willow gave him.
"Are we going just going to walk in with baby in hands," cordy ask.
"No, they baby is going to be in your hands, we will explain everything if they ask." angel says. All of them walked to the door. Knocked a few times and after a while a teenage girl answered the door.
"Hello," Dawn said. "nice to see you again angel, come in." she said. Everyone came into the house. As they walked into the livingroom, Anya, Xander, and Tara where dare. Their was an uncomfertable silence but then Dawn broke it. "Cute baby" she said to Cordy. "Thanks, his name is Connor," she answered. " I didn't know you had a baby Cordy?" willow says. "It's Angel's," she says realizing that came out wrong. "I mean its not mine its Angel's baby only." she said uncomfortably.
"Why didn't you tell us you had a baby, Ange." Buffy said coming in with Spike. Angel sudenly turned because he smelled Spike. "I found out my self, days before he was born." he said. Cordy didn't like that Angel had to explain himself to Buffy, "So this the prize human baby of Darla and Angel." Spike said. "You knew," buffy asked him. " I heard rumors but I didn't believe not till now." he said.
"We haven't been introduced I am Fred," Fred said introducing herself. "The name is Gunn," Gunn said. "HI," willow said. "This are Anya, Xander, Tara, Dawn, Spike, and Buffy." she said. The silence came once more. "Where are you staying?" Tara asked. "In hotel, around hear," wes said. "Which we should go check in," wes said. "How about i take the peanut and check everyone in," Lorne said. "That's a good idea, Gunn can you with them and take fred with you," he asked Gunn. " No prob, we will bring the car back." he said. "Be careful" angel said.
Cordy handed the baby to Fred. "So, what's the deal with the overpopulation of vampires," cordy asked. "well, we don't know why they are coming here but they are here and its a battle between them and the demons," willow said.
"Well from the information that Willow e mailed us, we found us that they follow their leader a sort of mother queen." Wes says. "so the only way to stop the demons that figting the vampires is to kill the mother queen," cordy finishes. "That wouldn't stop your vampire problem, but would get read of the demons," angel says. "We can handel the vamps, so its not that hard just kill the mother queen, " buffy says.
"The problem is that the mother queen doesn't have a body, its a spirit that occupy's certain human bodies to live, the problem is how we kill her and make sure we don't kill the body she has taken over." Wes tells the gang.
"oh, maybe a spell," tara said. "Willow and I can research that" tara says.
"While you all research, Angel and I should go make some rounds through sunnydale," Buffy said. Spike gave Buffy a look.
"Yeah, just to make sure everything is ok," Angel agreed which pist off Cordy.
"Cordelia you can go back to the hotel when Gunn comes back," angel tells her.
"No worries lad, I can take Cordelia to the hotel," both Xander and Spike said at the sametime.
"OH, well its Cordy's decision," angel said wondering why both guys want to take her home.
"Thanks spike I will take your offer, dont want to take Xander away from his fiancé." Cordelia. All four started walking out when suddenly Cordy fell into Spike's arm with an old pain she has felt before.
"Cordy!" Angel runs to her.
