INT. ANGEL INVESTIGATION'S

where ANGEL and CORDELIA'S WEDDING is taking place.

GUNN
Are you guy's sure I'm right for this?

CORDELIA
What we're we suppost to do, get a preacher?

ANGEL
I wanted one but no, over ruled. Democracy blows.

GUNN
I'm not sure.....I mean, does this count?

CORDELIA
Of course it does. Besides, what we're we gonna tell
the preacher when the rings start to glow.

GUNN

ANGEL

where our Cordelia lands in the Library, wedding dress and all.

ANGLE ON XANDER who has missed this all looking in the stalls has
now turned around.

XANDER

CORDELIA stands in the middle of

The Whole Gang is there where a very depressed Cordelia sits (who is now in regular civillians clothes)

spirit destroying vision's out of the girl.

XANDER

CORDELIA
Wow, you know what I find amazing. The fact
that no matter what year of Cordelia your around,
they all still think your a retard.

XANDER
We'll I guess it's safe to say your not the new and
improved model.

BUFFY
What's a Vision?

CORDELIA

A vision is a mini-movie in my head of an event
that's going to happen, it show's me the place,
a person, sometimes a name.

WILLOW
That doesn't sound too bad.

CORDELIA
Yeah, we'll the stars of which are people who are
about to be sliced and diced by some horrible
demon.

BUFFY
That's one nifty skill you picked up.
(to gang)
Okay, Cordelia, if you could, I want you to
figure out where this demon is, do you know
it's name, anything that can help Giles locate
it in his books.

CORDELIA

The Gang watch as Buffy walks out of the Library

Before Willow can finish, the sound of the Library doors are heard as BUFFY is seen walking back in.

and make each other breakfast, then go out and kill
evil apocolypt-i demon's, and just be together.

ANGLE ON CORDELIA who has been listen to Buffy's comments with
a smile on her face, obviously relating it to her and Angel

BUFFY
Do I look amazing in the dress?

CORDELIA
(excited; knocking herself out of daydream)
Oh I so do. It's this Versace dress just off the shoulder's,
and I know already what you guy's are thinking, not exactly
the best fashion faux around a Vampire but let's just say
I was safe cause if looks could kill, you with me?

Cordelia smiles gleefully around at the gang who's looks have gone from thrilled and perky to downtrotten, except Xander who it happier than ever (due to his Buffy love)

CORDELIA
(re: Buffy's look)

XANDER
Actually we're more stuck on the part where your Angel's
bride.

CORDELIA

EXT. ALLEY

Where the Gang are currently walking down the Alley. Buffy is seriously pissed.

Buffy goes to snap it's neck when it sends her flying backwards down the alley, then runs

CORDELIA

INT. ANGEL'S PLACE

ANGEL enter's to find CORDELIA sitting on the bed.

CORDELIA
We'll look who it is. If it isn't the love of my life.

ANGEL

ANGEL

(fake)

(figuring out her many deaths)
........a whole bunch of times. Pretty mundane. Me and you,
however. We could have our own Prime Time sitcom. "The
Dark Avenger and his sidekick Glowy". Emmy's here we come.
Just remember who's the star. Me. Cordy.

ANGEL
Understand clearly that I could never, can never, and will never
love you.

CORDELIA
Fine. You can take the mission back. You can take
the vision's back.

Cordelia tugs the ring off her finger.

She throws the ring at him. CORDELIA runs crying out of the room.

ANGLE ON ANGEL staring in shock at the ring lying on the ground.

He picks it up in aww.

CORDELIA
(Babbling)
That's it. I'm done. Angel free is the way to be.
I'm going to get Wicca Willow to find me a way
home, then I'm going to tell Angel all about what
a jerk he was to me.

ANGEL

Cordelia stops in her tracks.

CORDELIA

Angel stops with his rant as he looks over to see Cordelia in tears.

Angel walks over to the bed now, sitting down, trying to comfort her.

real Angel cause he would kick his ass, or your ass,

(pause)
Some Honeymoon. Here I am, with my newly minted Husband
who can do nothing but tell me how much we're not suppost to be
together.
(beat; putting hand on Angel's thigh)

ANGLE ON ANGEL who's face has gone funny since Cordy put her hand on his knee.

CORDELIA
Angel? Anyone in there? Woohoo.

Cordelia clicks her fingers in Angel's face as the CAMERA PUSHES IN on ANGEL'S FACE to see what he's seeing.

INT. ANGEL INVESTIGATION'S HOTEL

The same scene from the Beginning. CORDY and ANGEL stand under the arc being wed. They kiss, and then

INT. ANGEL'S HOME

We're back. Angel stares at Cordy in shock.

ANGEL
It's true. It's really True.

CORDELIA
Finally. You saw it?

ANGEL
I saw it. I felt it.
(beat; shocked)
I'm in love with you.

CORDELIA
(re:Angel's lack of enthusiasm)
Wow. Sweep a girl off her feet why don't you.

ANGEL
I'm sorry. It's too much, It's too much.

CORDELIA
(putting hand to Angel's cheek)

ANGEL recoils from Cordelia's touch.

ANGEL
(screaming)

Cordelia falls back, tears, in pain.

Cordelia begins to approach Angel slowly, crouching down below him.

CORDELIA
Angel. Don't worry. It's okay. Everything's okay.
I'll make sure of it. I've seen your future. I've even
seen your past. I've seen everything about you know
and do you know the conclusion I've come up with.
(beat)
You worry too much.

Angel smiles at that alittle.

CORDELIA
And no Champion of mine is going to be sobbing like a baby.

ANGEL
I'm.......yours.

Cordelia is caught off guard by his tone, then

CORDELIA
Every inch of me. My heart. My soul. All of it.

Angel is moving in closer to Cordy.

ANGEL
Its in me, I feel it. My love for you. It's flowing
inside me.

CORDELIA

ANGEL
So it's our Honeymoon, should we consumate our marriage.

CORDELIA
(lustfully)

And they move in, their lips touching....and they're at it. Hot and Heavy. Angel finishes the kiss, aroused.

ANGEL
That was......Buffy.

CORDELIA
(pissed)
Did you just call out another Woman's name in bed?

Angel points over to the door where BUFFY is standing, shocked. Heartbroken.

CORDELIA
(to Buffy)
Yeah, this is kinda private so if you could just....
(realising)

(heartbroken)

ANGEL

Buffy stare at him. Destroyed. Then runs out.

ANGEL

But she's gone. Angel looks out longingly, then turns back to Cordy.

Cordelia slaps him.

CORDELIA

ANGEL

CORDELIA
I'm Married. Do you understand that? Mar-ried.

ANGEL

CORDELIA
Small detail. Point is, you can't kiss me. I'm
commited to you now, so you can't go around
just kissing me.

ANGEL

CORDELIA
This is SO not going to work. We need code names for you guys.

Angel ignores this and runs out after Buffy. CORDY watches him go, then with a face about to burst into tears, states simply.

CORDELIA
I want Angel.

ANGEL(OS)
We'll since we're just married, I think that's
a good sign.

CORDELIA
Angel?

And there behind her stand Angel and Fred. NOTE Angel from Buffy Season 2 is Now ANGEL(B+A) and Angel now is ANGEL(C+A) Cordelia runs into his arms.

CORDELIA
(happily)
Angel

And they embrace, full smoochies, long and lovingly

ANGLE ON FRED shyly in the Corner.

FRED

CUT TO:

EXT. STREET - RAINING

BUFFY is currently trudging through the pouring rain. Angel(B+A) is behind her, desperately trying to
catch up.

ANGEL
Buffy wait.

BUFFY
What happened. Cordy dump you? Am I your rebound?

ANGEL
Can't we talk?

BUFFY
Yes, let's go into deep and meaningful conversation
about your love for Cordelia.

ANGEL
My love for her is like Poison. Ain't it great.

BUFFY
Love? Your Love for her?

ANGEL
I can't believe this. You're Angry at me for
something I haven't done yet?

BUFFY

ANGEL

BUFFY

Angel stands watching in the pouring rain as Buffy runs off.

INT. ANGEL'S HOME (CONT.)

Angel(C+A), Cordy and Fred are now all sitting, discussing

CORDELIA
I want to go home Angel.

ANGEL
Baby we all do. But the Powers That Be
sent us here.

CORDELIA
Power's that be? The Septer? It was them. They
sent us back here.

Great Honeymoon, huh?

CORDELIA
I shouldn't be surprised. I mean we we're never gonna have
a proper honeymoon anyway's, might as we'll be doing this.

ANGEL
Do you have any idea why we're back here? Vision maybe?

CORDELIA
Yes. I know this. Go Cordy! There's a demon. I had a vision,
and we're hunting it.

FRED
There we are. All figured out. We kill the demon. I get home
to Charles. you to go on your honeymoon.

CORDELIA
Fred, not that I don't love you sweetie, but
why are you here? it's pretty dangerous.

FRED
You think I would abandon my friends, let them be
sucked through a portal and not come for them.

ANGEL
Plus she tripped into the portal.

FRED
Plus I tripped into the portal.

ANGEL
What's that on the floor?

CORDELIA
My ring.

ANGEL
Your ring?

CORDELIA
I threw it at you

ANGEL
You threw the ring at me?

Angel gets on his knee's with the ring.

ANGEL
Cordelia Chase Angel, will you continue to be
my wife.

CORDELIA

CORDELIA
Oh no.

Cordelia is thrown back into a Vision.

ANGEL
Are you okay?

CORDELIA
Demon. He's at the Library. And he's going to kill
Buffy.
(beat)
And give me my ring.

Angel smiles and puts it back on her finger.

FRED
We stop it then.

ANGEL
Great, so we kill the demon, and then go home.

CUT TO:

BUFFY
It's Impossible.

INT. SUNNYDALE LIBRARY

Buffy sit's around the table sadly.

BUFFY
Angel and Cordelia. Cordelia and Angel. Married.

WILLOW
We'll maybe....

BUFFY
Don't Will. Just don't. I don't want to be comforted.
I don't want to be told it's all okay, or it's for the best
or it's a lie or whatever. I just want everything to be quiet.

SMASH!!! The Window of the Library smashes in as the DEMON lands on the ground.

BUFFY
Son Of a Bitch.

The demon lunges at Buffy, she dodges it once, twice, three times, then get's it good in the stomach. Buffy punches it, he flies back. The demon waves his hand and a sound barrier beam ripples through the library sending everyone flying backwards.

The sound of the LIBRARY DOOR being opened is heared as Angel, Cordy and Fred enter.

CORDELIA
Here comes the bride. Out of my way.

ANGEL
And the groom I guess, which I was told was
a big deal.

FRED
It is.........to you.
(beat)
You just have to face it Angel.
It's all about the bride.

ANGEL
(smiling)
Isn't it.

Cordelia makes for the demon, it sends its sound ripples along which is stopped by Cordy.

CORDELIA
Hey, wanna see what i can do.
