Notes: The title 'All Night Long' belonged to another story, which was the one I intended to write for SS in the first place but it got too complicated and boring, so I wrote something else. But I kept the title because it was the one I had sent Lala. This is UNBETAED! Sorry... Thanks to Lala for organizing ST's Secret Santa.
Feedback: Most of you won't.
Secret Santa Fic: For Idiot Jed. I hope you like it. Merry Xmas!

Cordelia was pacing on her living room while holding the phone next to her ear. Come on. Come on. Pick up. Pick up. Come on. After a few seconds, she heard the familiar Hello on the other side of the line.

"Angel? Finally! I've been trying to reach you all night long! Did you turn off your cell phone?"

"Cordelia? Is something wrong?"

"What? No. Everything's fine. Listen... I have..."

"Did Groo do anything to you? What's wrong?"

"No, Angel! Groo didn't do anything wrong to me! Listen... There's this... little problem..."

"What problem? What happened? Are you alright? If he hurt you..."

"Would you let me finish? I... had a vision and I..."

"We have to fight! Where? What demon is it? Groo should come to help us."

"No, the vision is not important right now! The thing is..."

"Of course the vision is important. If the PTB's decided to send you a vision it MUST BE important. We have to pay attention to the visions!"

"Of course we have to pay attention to the visions! But not right now! This thing is happening in two days and in the meantime I have more important matters at hand..."

"More important than our mission? We mustn't forget our mission. You told me that."

"I know I am the one saying that we mustn't forget our mission. But this IS important!"

"The most important thing right now is the mission"

"But it could affect the mission..."

"How could your problem affect the mission? Are you ill?"

"Angel, I could lose my visionity!"

"Yeah, right"

"VISION-ity"

"Oh... that"

"I need to ask you for a favor... There's something I need you to do... so I can comshuck with Groo"

Silence

"Angel... are you there?"

"Yeah"

"I've been doing some research and there's a potion I could take to keep my visions..."

"I don't think you should rely on a potion"

"Do you want Groo to be your vision-girl?"

"No! Er... I mean, what do I need to do?"

"You have to pick up the potion. Simple, right? The woman that runs the brodel is called Anita. I've talked to her on the phone. She'll be waiting for you... tell her I want the green potion. The GREEN potion, remember that"

"The green potion. Ok. How much is it?"

"1,500 dollars, but I'll pay you back as soon as you give it to me"

"1,500 dollars? 1,500 dollars? 1,500 dollars? 1,500 dollars? 1,500 dollars?"

"Angel... breathe"

"I don't breathe"

"Yeah, I know you don't breathe. But just... breathe. I'll pay you back. I promise"

"1,500 dollars. Where is this brodel?"

"173 Mellow Road"

"Convenient. Ok, I'm on my way."

"You are the best! Thanks"

And with that, Cordelia hanged up and sat on the couch to wait for Angel.

[1 hour later]

"Cordy?", Angel knocked on the door. After a few seconds Cordelia opened.

"I have a doorbell", she greeted him. "Thank God I was right next to the door or I wouldn't have heard you. Did you get it?", she said excitedly as she moved away from the frame to let him in.

"I got it", he said taking a green bottle out of his jacket's pocket.

"Aww! Thank you! Thank you! Thank you", Cordelia threw herself into his arms and hugged him tightly. "How will I ever thank you for this?"

"1,500 dollars", Angel replied coldly.

"Oh, yes! Wait while I go get my purse", she said cheerfully and she disappeared inside the bedroom.

Angel looked around for any sign of Groo. He wasn't there, so he figured he was in the bedroom waiting for Cordelia. He sat down on the couch as he waited. And waited. Why was she taking so long to get her purse? She'd probably come back with some excuse of how she couldn't find the money but that she'd pay him back the next day. He'd been around long enough to know how those things worked out.

But a few seconds later, she broke his concentration as she came back into the living room wearing nothing but a black silk teddy. Angel gulped and opened his mouth to say something but the words didn't come out.

"Do you like it?", she asked casually indicating her outfit.

Angel nodded and he gulped again. Great, now he even had to see what she was wearing for that guy. "So... where's Groo?", he asked, not really knowing why he had to ask that since the last thing that he wanted to hear was that Groo was right there in her bedroom waiting for her to drink the potion so they could... comshuck like bunnies.

"Groo is gone", she replied.

"Uh?", Angel asked after his jaw went back to its normal position.

"I realized... Groo wasn't right. And he went back to Pylea", Cordelia said softly as she sat beside him.

"You're still paying me the 1,500 dollars back, right?", Angel asked and a second later he knew that if he had a stake around, he'd use it on himself. She was wearing nothing but lingerie, sitting right in front of him after dumping the guy that ruined his not-so-perfect love confession when they were back from the ballet and all he could say was You're still paying me the 1,500 dollars, right?.

"I was kind of hoping we'd split the expenses", she said with a seductive voice and moved closer to him.

Angel gulped again and just stared at her. "Uh?"

"Oh come on, Angel", Cordelia protested. "I'm hitting on my best friend and you are not making it any easier".

"You're hitting on me? Why would I pay for half of that?", Angel asked confused.

"Because you'd have to drink half of that", Cordelia told him.

"You mean...", Angel trailed off. "You mean..."

"I mean I sent Groo away because I realized you were right", Cordelia said.

"I was right. Of course", Angel replied. "Right about what?"

"About us. About what happened in that dressing room, at the ballet. It was us. I got what you were trying to say", Cordelia explained. "And if I am not mistaken, before Groo showed up, you were trying to say something else. Something about me...", Cordelia continued. "Maybe something about... us?", she asked. Her face was only inches away from his now.

"Yes, about us", Angel replied with effort as his eyes concentrated on her and then on her lips, which now were so close to him.

"Well, when I talked to this woman, Anita, she told me that a blue potion would protect my visions, but a green potion would protect my visions and my lover's soul", Cordelia explained.

"You asked this woman who is a complete stranger for advice?", Angel asked getting more confused by the minute.

"No. I never mentioned you. She just... felt you in my voice", Cordelia said softly, feeling suddenly very exposed.

"So... you're saying...", Angel stammered.

"The green potion if for both of us. I want YOU. I...", she trailed off.

"I love you", Angel said with conviction. "That was what I was trying to say before Groo showed up. I love you. And whatever happened tonight at the ballet... it was us. It was me wanting you. I wanted to make love to you", Angel blurted it all out feeling a huge relief as he saw her smile.

"Wanted? Does that mean you don't want me anymore?", Cordelia said with a naughty tone as she planted kisses along Angel's jaw.

"Don't be a tease... I want you. Now", he whispered in her ear.

"I love you too", she told him before finding his lips with hers. They kissed tenderly while their hands started to flow along each other's skin.

"Angel?", Cordelia spoke in between kisses.

"Hmmm?"

"Do I still have to pay for my half of the potion? Because I'm kind of broke...", she said sheepishly.

"It's only fair. You're getting most of the fun"

"I am? Excuse me?", Cordelia asked offended but without putting an end to the task of removing Angel's shirt.

"Well, I've been around, you know... I've learnt a few things that you are going to enjoy", he replied naughtily.

"Ha! You've been around? YOU, my friend, are about to experience what Queen C can do to a guy. YOU are SOOOO going to pay for the whole potion", she said with confidence as her hands moved to undo his zipper.

"Cordelia?", Angel asked with effort.

"Yeah?"

"We'll have to wait and see... Now shut up", he said before taking her into his arms and heading towards the bedroom.

"We'll see if you are up to the challenge", Cordelia giggled as she threatened him.

"I'm not answering that", he told her before closing the door behind them.

End.
