It's all subjective, I look at the second one and think, what were they looking at? Her hair isn't as full nor is her face. And what happened to the full apple of her cheeks?

CC's eyes in the screen cap are still warm and laughing. The comic graphic? I wanna know why they shrunk her irises & what happened to the smile around the corners of her mouth and why the brows look like something sewn on by Dr. Frankenstein.

Just me though.

And Joss defending C/A? Well, he was the "get over it" guy initially.

I think that your description of the difference between the photo and the comic is really up to the point.
Here I am just going to ask what you mean by Joss is the initial "get over it" guy. I came to the boards fairly late and only know what people now let me know about the fights at the time.

Can you explain a little more the history?

There was a comment in tv guide about how Joss told his writing team about introducing C/A. They were supposedly aghast, all "but what about Angel and Buffy."

Reportedly Joss said to get over it.

I believe he also commented that Buffy was like a first wife and you don't go back to your first wife. You move on and grow up.

Penny, I'm sure you're right that Greenie did say it in an interview (possibly the BBC one?), but if I'm not mistaken (which is more than likely I am) he was quoting/paraphrasing what JW said to him while trying to explain his reasoning. And I know DB described Buffy as a crush but if he said the first wife thing, he was only parroting what Greenie/JW had already said which is something he always did.

I thought some folks had had those directly sold to them from the publisher. If not, I'd be surprised if there's not some online comic book vendors who could sell them directly.

I get mine direct from IDW. However, Jeff M on his blog mentioned that Issue 1 is going into its third print and Issue 2 is sold out, so it may take a while to get copies.

Thanks for the insight into Joss, David Greenwalt and David B reactions to the C/A stories.

I wish there could be a repository of all these quotes somewhere online.

Borders and Barnes and Noble sell them, and they may even be ordered online too.

I had two copies of Number one and two of Angel from San Diego and two signed copies of the new Spike comic. I was making them available to win at whedonverse and beyond, but if people don't participate and get them, i can bring them here.
