Summer Glau to star in "Sarah Connor Series."

I am not sure if this is old news or not (sorry if it is), but SG is starring as Sarah Connor in the Sarah Connor Series. I am actually looking to this as I am a BIG fan of the Terminator movies (well, the third, not so much), but I am a little trepid about the casting of SG as Sarah. For one thing, I think that she is quite young to be playing a mother of a teenager and second of all, Linda Hamilton's interpretation of and physical appearance after T2 is so embedded on my brain it is hard to see SG in this role. I guess only time will tell though.

Is anybody else planning on watching (IF) or when this show comes on?

She's not Sarah Connor. That's Lena Headey. She's playing a character called "Cameron Phillips", which I assumed was a Terminatrix.

Oh, thanks for that. That makes ALOT more sense. SG didn't have alot lines on Firefly, but she did give an intense performance, so it will suit this new character. I will go look up Lena. Do you know if she is new to the business or does she have any acting credits to her.

Summer Glau is playing the 'good' Terminator.

I've seen the pilot. It wasn't bad; heavy on the explosions. There being not a lot of competition from other new programming should help it find an audience.

The only other thing I've seen Lena Headey in was 300.

No, Lena is an experienced actress. The thing you probably saw her in most recently was as Leonidas' wife in the movie 300 or as Blanche in Possession

I haven't seen either, but I do remember her now from the "Brothers Grimm." Not so great movie, but I liked her in it. And wow, she has got some serious tattoos on her. It should be a good show, that is, if Fox ever decides to air it.
