King of Pop and Queen of Pin-Ups have died
First the shocking death of Farah Fawcett. And now, Michael Jackson.
Michael Jackson died Thursday after being rushed unconscious and not breathing to a Los Angeles hospital, the Los Angeles Times and TMZ reported. http://www.nydailynews.com/news/2009..._jackson_.html It really is a shame and great loss of two legendary stars. I was also looking forward to Michael Jackson's comeback. They'll be sorely missed.

So sad This death definitely hit me pretty hard. Old school MJ always brings back good memories.
Farrah Fawcett passed away today, as well.

To be honest, Farrah wasn't all that shocking; we've been waiting for that one for weeks.
But Michael? Talk about out of left field! He might have been a freak, but he was a talented freak. RIP King of Pop. |

I suppose Michael Jackson's life was as sad as his death, but there's no denying he was a massively talented artist, and more famous than anyone else has ever been in my lifetime.

Yeah, I've been waiting for FF since they announced she and Ryan O'Neil were going to get married. That was just a clear indication that the end was near.
MJ though, that's totally unexpected. Crazy year for Celebrity deaths. David Caradine, Ed McMahon, FF and now MJ.

Ed MacMahon also died, at the age of 86 late Tuesday this week.
As for MJ I really feel sad for his kids, poor them. Seems like the drama never stops for them. RIP MJ (will always be a legend)

Both truly terrible tragedies I can't believe either of them are gone.

I was so shocked and sad when I heard the news today. He was truly legendary, extremely talented. May he rest in peace.

I have many many issues with Micheal Jackson, but one thing is certain, Thriller is one of the best things ever committed to vinyl, up there with Sgt. Pepper and Dark Side of the Moon.
But overall, I'm more saddened by Farrah Fawcett's death.

messed up year
I'm heart broken. I've been listening to Michael and watching his vids longer than I can remember. Was even in love with him when I was little.
To make things worse I had no clue than Andy Hallett passed away this year until I collected my back issues of Angel comics. |
