Fab news! Wonder what the episode promo'll look like. I'm doubtin' they'll resort to "Angel's Charisma Carpenter" 'cause NBC isn't quite the Angel-happy environment, but fingers crossed that she'll get specific mention (or at least mucho exposure) in the eppy preview.

Wow! CC again (put the enfasis in again) in NBC...... something is telling me that she will end working on her show or as a leading female with a good co-star.
Not to play devil's avocate but wasn't LAX one of the show that didn't work that well as the network wanted or am I confused? V. |

The fact that Spelling discovered both of them gives them something in common already. Good on Heather, choosing another strong lead actress to play off her in such a key role for her own character's background. YES IN DEED!. I'm very excited.

This is excellent news!
Is there any chance some of you LAX viewers could bring us newbies up to speed on what the show is about? |

That's great news! Looks like Spelling is taking care of his girl, and hopefully this will be the beginning of bigger and better things.
Be sure to keep another countdown going tojo, so I'll remember to tape it! |

Ooh, great news!
Does anyone know if this show airs in the UK, or will be? I'm so out of touch with TV these days I have no idea!

Charisma and Heather together will be great. |

The show reminds me of old-skoolers like Adam 12 and Emergency! more than anything that's on TV right now, in that it dares to suggest that for the most part, the most interesting thing about the regular characters is the work they do. (Perhaps coincidentally, those series took place in L.A. County, too.) But they do offer some insights into the characters' lives from time to time, such as the Underwood character's strained relationships with his newly teenage daughter and his problematic ex-wife, the Locklear character's work-obsessed nature, and the cop's alcoholism and resentment of being demoted to the airport beat.
