You're Welcome...3 yrs later
I know this is a date I'll always cherish. Back to 3 years ago when Angel was in what was to become it's final season, along came an episode that lifted all our spirits and that was the return of The 'real' Cordy to help out our hero one last time. She awoke in a 'bizzaro world' to raise the 5th season to new heights that went to Hell just 9 days later when on Friday February 13th, the WB announced Angel was to end. Thanks Cordy and especially Charisma, for your gift to us, your ardent fans...

Yes...Today was a day of happiness and joy for me. I was thrilled to see Cordelia again and have Angel and Cordelia's relationship come to a sort of close. I needed that closure.
This episode was in true typical 'Angel' fashion and was done with humor and sweetness. I loved it!

Yeah, "You´re Welcome" was a very sad but beautiful ep.
It was also the real end of AtS because we saw the wonderful friendship between Angel and Cordelia and the feeling of a family in the group for one last time. Thank you, Cordy and especially Charisma for doing this ep!

I can't hardly watch those ending scenes anymore. It's so hard, and I almost always end up fighting off the tears.
The whole thing is bittersweet, because we had Cordelia back, and the chemistry/closeness/love between her and Angel was out in full force....only it's the end of it. |

Don't get me started. It's bad enough that I cry everytime I watch YW, but I get all teary-eyed TALKING about it, too. *sighs*
samsom, you're right, everything was out in full force. All, in all, I think the C/A shippers got the better end of the deal with ship endings. The overall feel of the episode, you could see and feel the love. However, it would have been a lot better, if she just left, and not died.

your welcome was sad because Joss didn't have the sense enough to keep Cordy on the show. If he kept her it would have opened up a whole new season or two. and the catfights between nina and cordy or just drama drama drama for them. Hell, if the wb didn't want ANGEL maybe fox, abc, cbs, or even tnt would have taken the show. You're welcome only proved what we have been saying and hinting all along. That the way the gang was that is how it should always be. Thats why it was emotional. Joss made a mistake by letting it end and creating such crap such as the ANGEL:AFTER THE FALL comic book. that thing is making me boil over. I don't know what it is but it is not ATS.
