Thanks, IGLC!

My thoughts:

- Sarah and Alex's scene with the therapist is kinda funny if a bit cliched, although I would love to see their slapfight on camera.

- This looks very slapstick-y.

- Alex is VERY Jack Black. Which isn't necessarily a bad thing.

- Hate to go all "Eternal Sunshine" on everyone, but the continuous use of "cute"...I HATE cute! Hate it!!!111!! Sarah's cute, her assistant's cute, we're all cute- I get it!

- I can see Charisma as Sarah, especially when she's speaking baby talk to the dog over the phone. It was pretty funny when she went all bipolar on the phone.

- Sarah has a Knight Rider ring tone! LOL

- Sarah's incorrect phrases in French and her date correcting her sounds funny.

- An ensemble cast...this is good. But Charisma is clearly the star.

- This show can be very funny, if played right. I hope it gets picked up, I would love to see what they do with it.

My Thoughts. Here they go.

This show doesn't sound very good. Sorry, but it's not that funny and It's on UPN! I could have gone for a bad show on a big network, or a great show on a small network, but THIS is what CC picked.

The Therapist scene is funny, The Telephone scene is hysterical, and the rest is just Meh!

A Few important thing's to consider. These sides where released a MONTH ago. And it's a pilot. Think back to the Buffy Pilot, then to the actual First ep we got. There you go!!! Also these scene's where randomly written and could very well end up not seeing the light of day.

I'm hoping that when the show actually airs, the writing will be sharper and better. It's not a bad show, but it's not a good one either.

as i read the synopsis that IGLC wrote in the other thread, it seems that the pilot is written more with alex as the major character.

i'm not sure the world needs another disfunctional, horndog, troublemaking brother/best friend, or what have you. it's rather cliched at this time IMO
