If you're taking opinions, I think the idea of a category for the actors' post-Whedon series is a great idea. It would be a lovely thought to have CC, DB and NB all in a group together of season successes.

When did theym change their minds about VM future? Wasn't VM renewed quite early on in the race?

Yes. It was given a full season order early on and got renewed for a second season in the beginning of April.
