No, she's perfect. Because she was a cheerleader and a very popular girl until she got her call because the previous Amazon Woman died. So, she became got all the superpowers and lost her status. Since that she spends her days at the library school with her unpopular friends and her re-formed boyfriend figthing the evil in secret..... See?, Whedon knows what he's doing!

I like Rachel a lot, but she does seem a bit dinky for the role. Still, she did look cute in that Wonder Woman outfit she donned for The OC a while back. Perhaps she'll charm her enemies into submission?

That's highly debatable.

I like Bilson a lot as an actress but height wise, age wise and pretty much everything else wise she just seems an inappropriate choice to me.

you know it's been years since I've watched Wonder Woman but didn't she have a young sister or student at one point? I can't remember. Knowing JW's love for you teenage heroine's (Buffy, Willow, River, etc) I'd be interested to see if he's telling Diana's story or her baby sisters

yeah, her sister Drusilla (sometimes refered to as Wonder Girl) was played by Debra Winger in 3 episodes (1 a 2 parter)

plus, this quote

Plus a quick call to a studio insider revealed that she is little too old and little too short for what Joss Whedon has planned.
sort of takes CC out of the running , doesn't it

as i've said before, jass is going to make 'Wonder GIRL' not Wonder WOMAN

According to IMDb Rachael Bilson is 25 years old. How the hell is that too old to be Wonder Woman? Eh, whatever, if JW remains involved in the project I wouldn't see it anyway.

If that's the case, and it's been debunked, then she is playing it awfully damn coy, because they mentioned it like, three times and she said yes, and thanked them when she congratulated them. Meaning she either got the role, or she was lying through her teeth to 104. She could have been just going with the flow to drum up watchers for her movie, but that's pretty shitty if that's the case.

It wouldn't be the first time an actor was told they had the role before all the PTB's were consulted and then didn't get the role. That *is* a possibility.

Or maybe it wasn't her on the radio.
Personally, I love Rachel Bilson. As Summer. As whoever she is in The Last Kiss. But as Wonder Woman/Girl/Baby? Nuh-uh.

At the pace this project is going, Dakota Fanning's granddaughter will be too old to play Whedon's version of Wonder Woman.

Not familiar with the Wonder Woman comics, only the show but how can Joss Whedon change the story like that having a teenager get the powers of an amazonian? Sounds like he's doing Buffy over again. A teen girl getting super powers, and having to accept a destiny she is afraid of, and rather not have.
If this is the story, I'm not interested in seeing it. I want to see Wonder Woman. I wonder if Charisma has any idea that this is the story JW has in mind, if this is the idea. Anyway, first a lackluster, child, Lois Lane, and now a teenage Wonder Woman, what next.

Not loving this if it's true. Bilson is nice and has the physical looks required, but she seems to cutesy and one dimensional to play Wonder Woman. I hope this isn't tru as i feel they could find someone better for the role.
