* Disc 4:
"You’re Welcome" - Commentary by Director / Actor David Fury, Christian Kane and Sarah Thompson

Commentary from everyone but who the episode was about.

It's so WRONG! I Hate Joss for what he did to Cordy/Charisma but he's still My God.

Considering there was absolutely nothing from CC on S4 when the whole arc was about her, I'm not at all surprised about this either. Besides having to be asked to do a commentary, the person asked also has to agree to do it. I seriously doubt she was asked to, and if she was, I'm 99 44/100% sure she would have turned them down anyway.

SARAH THOMPSON!! ACK!! NO!! This is just pouring salt in the wound. She was one of the single worst actresses ever to be on the series playing one of the single worst characters on the show. She had two facial expressions: pouty and more-pouty. Her every attempt at trying to be sexy looked like a little boy in drag! In drag I tell's thee!!!! Not only did her presense highlight the teeth ME took out of Wolfram and Hart is pseudo Season 5. Her screen time served a painful reminder of the lack of strong female characters in the final season. (I'm counting Fred and Illyria was all but sexless) A pox, a pox on thee! Sarah Thompson is one of the reason's Season 5 was the worst season of ANGEL; it was the television equivalent of BATMAN & ROBIN. Only more garrish and shallow. ACK! NO! UGH!

Needless to say I'm a tiny bit dissapointed by this news.

Considering how Joss treated CC when he fired her and the general attitude he showed toward the character. I wouldn't be surprised if sometime in the future he didn't use George Lucas technology to digitally remove Cordy from BTVS and A:TS. He'll probably replace her with one of those heroin chic Mary Sue's he's obsessed with.

I'm with you on the Sarah Thompson dislike. That woman cannot act to save her life. Maybe she's a bit better at commentating?

I'm actually surprised they did a commentary for 'You're Welcome.' I was sort of expecting them to do one for 'The Girl in Question' where they'd go on about how great an episode it is.

Sarah Thompson??

I should be more surprised, I suppose. And yet, somehow, I'm so very not.

I'm not surprised to be honest. Though hopfully those talking will have something nice to say about CC.

I'm just annoyed that I'll be buying them. Wish to god I wasn't, but I like to have CC's episodes on hand. Dammit.

Do you really have to buy the whole box set? In the US they sell the DVDs separately. Maybe you can get someone to send you the DVD with YW on it.

I think I have it on tape, but I love the DVD quality. I am a sheep indeed.

I justify it by using the excuse I need a good copy for CCO though. lol

You know, if someone has a DVD burner they can burn it for you. Because, seriously, it's not worth it to buy a whole box set for just one eppy.

True. I was thinking of renting it, then taking what I need, but it depends on how long the delay is till it's available to rent. I'm one of those people that want things 'now, now, now'. lol

If Charisma did not appear in extras of DVDs of season 4 and she were a regular character, it's not strange that she doesn't appear in extras of season 5 but... Why Sarah Thompson??!!

Who knows.

She can be intresting to listen too though, so she may produce an intresting listen. She's also said nice things about CC before, which gives me hope.
