Holy cats, CC's cracked the top 100! And one has to wonder how much of AtS' own advance in the rankings is directly to do with her, too.
Thanks, Tojo!

I also think the big jump of AtS and Miss Match is up to Charisma, but her next appearance on MM is not before 4 weeks or am I wrong?

I'm not sure when her next MM appearance is, but spoilers are already circulating about the possible relationship between Serena and Kate's dad. That would generate some interest, I would think.
Yay for CC in the top 100! Where does SMG usually fall? ***argel***

Tojo - What is this Star Meter thing? I realize it's a ranking but what is it ranking? Number of searches on a name or title?

STARmeterTM and MOVIEmeterTM are powerful market research tools developed by IMDb to give industry professionals insight into the popularity of film and television productions and the people who make them.
What do the rankings mean? Plain and simple, they represent what people are interested in, based not on small statistical samplings, but on the actual behavior of millions of IMDb users. Unlike the AFI 100TM or Academy AwardsTM, high rankings on STARmeterTM and MOVIEmeterTM do not necessarily mean that something is "good." They do mean that there is a high level of public awareness and/or interest in the title or person. How are these ratings calculated? IMDb Pro uses proprietary algorithms that take into account several measures of popularity for people and titles. The primary measure is who and what people are looking at on the public IMDb.com website. Other factors include Box office receipts and user quality votes on a scale of 1-10. The rankings are updated on a weekly basis. Are STARmeterTM and MOVIEmeterTM based on polls? Sort of. Users vote through their actions, every time someone visits an IMDb web page about one of the over 290,000 titles and over 1 million people in the database, we record that "pageview". It is the sum total of these pageviews that form the foundation of the STARmeterTM and MOVIEmeterTM rankings. Could someone "rig" the ratings by visiting an IMDb page repeatedly? No. IMDb.com has over 16 million visitors each month. The STARmeterTM and MOVIEmeterTM rankings are based on a cumulative total of more than 1 billion pageviews. Furthermore, we have designed the ranking algorithm so that the actions of one user (or small group of users) has a limited impact. How do STARmeterTM and MOVIEmeterTM compare with other rankings? Some ranking systems are based on the opinion of one "expert" or a selected group of "experts". Others use statistical samplings of a few hundred or a few thousand people, offering them a controlled set of choices, and ranking only within that set. We, on the other hand, offer a nearly unlimited set of choices with over 290,000 titles and over 1,000,000 people to choose from, and base our rankings on the behavior of a sampling group of over 16 million monthly visitors in a real-world environment.

Why thank you for that information.
I visted IMDb whenever I have a question on an actor or movie but I had no idea that statistical data was being gathered. That's pretty cool, it really does give you an idea of the impact CC had on ATS #100 and her comments about the WW role.

Holy cats! That's a huge bump for Charisma. Thanks for posting this Jake. Looks like her new management does know what they are doing.

you have to become an IMDB-PRO member,
it costs $100 bucks a year. there's a button on the top right of the main IMDB screen that should lead to a full explaination of what IMDB-PRO is

A-thank you for the info. And since I don't exactly have the funds to go STARmeterTM happy, can someone list the top 10, just so I have a general idea whom Charisma's contendin' with? And a number for Johnny Depp would be divine. Thanks!
