Freezing?

Lately, when I've gone to post or even edit my posts, my window will freeze up when I hit "Submit New Thread".

Was just wondering if this has happened to anyone else.

Ditto. Especially if they're longish. It's very like the problem I had over the summer with PM's.

It didn't happen to me for weeks, except for the last three days.

Can't get it to fail on my end, but a new vBulletin upgrade arrived a couple of days ago. Let me see if installing that will fix the problem.

I'm still having trouble with my messages. The site crashes whenever I try to PM people. Apart from you Penny! - conspiracy! Hee! So Traci if you read this I'm not ignoring you, honest!

Any idea's?

It's still happening to me when I go to edit a post. It freezes all my open windows.

What she said. I couldn't open or close anything until ST finished doing what it was doing. It doesn't happen every time, usually just when the edit or the post is more than 10 lines or so.

I've upgraded to 3.0.9 as of today. Hopefully that will help, although I recommend everyone empty their browser caches to make sure you get any benefit of the new stuff.

vB 3.5.0 is out now, but it looks like another huge upgrade that will affect everything from the style templates to the admin panel, so I'm holding off on that one until I suss it out completely.

If you're on Windows, I think you go into Temporary Internet Files to delete your browser cache.
