That, too.
But at least now we know why the board is so dead. And here I thought it was because there are only 15 of us. (Or maybe, you know, because AtS is dead dead dead, itself.)

What's wrong with dead?
Angel's dead. Cordy's dead. Wes, he's dead. Gunn, good as dead. Fred, might as well be dead. So hey, we're a dead board to a dead show, who's characters are dead. Good enough for me. *is dead* |

The rumours of our death have been greatly exaggerated.

I hate to interrupt up and bring his name up *again* but which one was fielding? Was he the one that pretended to be a C/A shipper and then started picking fights with everyone, or the one that put all those false spoilers up and had several personalities or was he the one that wrote long essay's on why we the ST board basically "suck" and then to act real mature started calling anyone who answered him back 'old'? I remember the lawyer coming out in platypus for the 'old' remark it wasn't pretty....
Fidd Pygmies were a LALA creation Filly just got really imaginative with them.

Hey, Fidd! Glad to see you around here again.
Fielding was the one who posted rumors and innuendos about CC again and again and, for example, again. No proof, nothing to back it up, but according to him CC's firing was all her own fault. At least, that was the last worst post I remember him making. I know there were other examples of idiocy...er...."gossip" that he'd posted before. The one who pretended to be a C/Aer is still around, and posted very recently as a matter of fact. The Foiler Family hasn't been around in a long loooong time so far as I know. So long that I can't even remember what handle (s)he used most.

Ah, how I love my ST. I know I don't have the high post count to prove it or anything, but I've been a Stranger since the days we were on a green board at some other URL with some other mod. I joined the summer before season 2 started showing.
In fact, yesterday I was trying ot think of the original board mamma's name, but I was drawing a blank.

Fielding was (is?) the oh-so-charming Australian who did, indeed, think that the vast majority of the ST board sucked balls because it could not appreciate the magnificence that was Whedon's vision for Season 4 of AtS. According to him, all that was done to Cordelia's character was good and awesome (and if you were as smart as fielding, it was also so obvious in terms of character progression and consistency). And I don't remember him calling anyone 'old', but I do remember him advocating fiercely during the season that CC probably loved the acting challenges presented to her during the 4th season, and that anyone who thought she was unhappy about it was ... well, I don't think he used the word retarded, but that was the gist of his opinion. He was, of course, discredited on this position in the end. After CC was fired, he posted several times to inform us all that it was entirely her own fault for speaking out about the 4th season storyline in a few magazine articles. I don't recall much of his posts beyond that because I had him on "ignore" for a long time.

Not calling just implying Platy!! Seriously though I do remember someone calling us a bunch of oldies maybe it was another board and I'm just confused. I'm getting old you see...
And Angela I thought I would come and pay my respects you know because of the unfortunate demise of this board.

Just cause I thought it was appropriate for post 103, especially since the Board is "dead"
I couldn't locate the original classic DH crotch shot...but thought this would bring back memories. ...or maybe nightmares

Man, I never liked that guy! Everybody is absolutely right in this thread--he hated Cordy, and moreover her relationship with Angel. He was probably one of those IN-STAFF B/A lover, and his advantage was that he actually wrote on the show. Now, think if ALL B/A fans wrote on the show, what then? Joss Whedon was lenient. He probably liked Angel/Cordy, otherwise he wouldn't have allowed it. But what you create you cannot forget. Maybe he was hesitating out of the contempt of B/As? Whatever the reason, one thing is crystal clear: Even though it could've been, Cordy/Angel never became mainstream. And I, being a shipper, am sad. Sure, I liked B/A, might've been a shipper, but it became too angsty. And it grew old. Buffy moved on, Angel was in LA, things could've been better. Angel, Cordy and Connor could've been one happy family, and Buffy and Spike could've been a pretty good couple if given serious chance. For comfort, I choose to read the fanfics centred on C/A and Spuffy. They always cheer me up |

Greetings
I don't even know if anyone remembers me-- but I popped over tonight after ages and ages to see what was going on with CC. I stumbled onto this thread (since my Tim Minear bitterness really knows no time limit) and now I'm sitting here laughing hysterically. I totally remember Fielding in all of his (?) bitter glory. That's so sad.
So anyway...just a face from the past saying hi! And now I return you to your ST crazy & non-topical yet witty banter I've never quite found a replacement for. (And it's heartening to see-- via Mr Angry a few pages back-- that all these years later, there are still people on the internet who take the world of Joss Whedon entirely too seriously)
