While I was catching up on episodes of a different CW show, I saw the previews to this one, and I couldn't help to be cynical. When SMG was crying, I kept seeing Buffy. I even posted on IMDb to say so. Now some might say that it's just me thinking of her most famous role. That could be it, but my honest first inclination was to wonder why in the last 8 years she hasn't grown as an actress.

Watching her cry as a character doesn't make me feel sympathy for her character but makes me want to mock the actress. Rude but true.
Oh Michael Easton. He'll always be Caleb (and Michael) to me.

I do think this premise has been done before and kind of done to death. I'm not too excited for Charisma's movie cause I'm tired of the whole fascination with twins thing.

SMG has a fairly large fanbase. The question is, will it be big enough for the CW to keep the show on?

That was it! I don't remember the show itself, but remember I was very into it and never missed an ep.

I can't see myself getting too into SMG's new show though. The premise itself isn't grabbing me, and I've never been so big an SMG fan that I'd watch something just for her. Still, I'll probably check out an ep or two just to see.

I just saw this on TV Guide -- doesn't the show premise sound similar?

Speaking of, TV Line's review of the show is positive.

I forgot as well. But I did start watching about 20 minutes in. I watched for about 10 minutes and then I went back to Razzoli & Isles. It really wasn't doing it for me, and SMG has never been an actress who can hold my interest just by being on screen. I may give it a try if it's on Hulu.

As a rule, CW shows are only available online from the CW website. I was trying to watch Hellcats and Nikita last season, and I think the website might have a month-long embargo before episodes are posted.

It wasn't bad, and there were some fairly interesting twistiness and turns. But it was a little overly melodramatic, and SMG looked and felt very rusty.

I decided to record it because of the glowing reviews here.

I think Ausiello said something about the tone of the next couple of episodes being different than the pilot, so unless it just puts me to sleep, I'll probably give it at least two or three tries.

I really did like some of the unexpected twists, although the biggest twist of all was sooo very telegraphed. But I will definitely hang in there for a couple of eps at least.

Well, that was odd. The final twist I was actually expected would be true before the series even aired, though not in the manner it's presented. But anyway, yes, it was telegraphed. I am again reading that the next couple of episode really are outstanding, so we'll see. But the pilot was odd.

Underwhelmed

I tried watching this. Even though the promos didn't intrigue me, I still gave it a shot.

Bored now.

How many people ARE in this cast? Who is hooking up with whom?

I was puzzled by what I was reading about the show too: just who was meant for whoma at what time. Generally like the guy from Life Unexpected, be he won't hold my interest.

Didn't ABC Family try a twins sitching identiities thing, too? What is with this dreck? That bored the crap out of me, too.

Let's face it: SMG will be linked with Buffy because that was the best thing she jas done in her career.
