Slow ?
Over the last couple of days the board seems very very slow - other sites I visit appear to be working normally. Is it me, or this board?

I donīt think that the board is slow, on my computer itīs pretty quick. But before I got DSL it was also slower.

I currently use XP, Internet Explorer 7 and have a 2mb Broadband (DSL) connection. The only change I've made recently is an update of my anti-virus software (Trend PC-cillin).

That could have done it. You might have more than one firewall turned on. You probably have your IE7 firewall on as well as your virus software. Or, even if it's not that, virus software is infamous for making things come to a crawl. I'd try configuring the virus software differently and see if it makes a difference.

The later versions of Firefox seem to have slowed boot-up to a crawl, for what it's worth. Once it's on, though, it's pretty quick.
