I've lost all respect for stupid Web tricks!! (Truth in Advo Update)
Based on a recent interview about Bones. And I Quote"
I think with Emily - I mean with these two characters, I mean, the potential for their personal lives entering into their professional lives is, I just think, dynamic. I think we all remember when we would watch "Moonlighting," you remembered how they got into bed. You never remembered what crimes they were kind of solving. And to me, that's interesting. That's character work. And to me, I think when you have a relationship where you trust another person or another actor, you're able to go to those boundaries. So for me, I mean, on "Angel," the banter really was with a bunch of demons. On "Buffy" it was with Sarah, but it was more an intense, brooding kind of relationship. There was a lot of torment and angst. And with "Angel," she wasn't there, so I really didn't have a female banter to go with per se, and always toe to toe with someone. So I think with this character, I know that it's the - for me, it's a run of gold with someone that's going to be a lot of fun. no female banter? NO F*CKING FEMALE BANTER?!?!?!?!?! WHAT THE HELL WAS THE FIRST 4 F*CKING SEASONS OF THE GODDAMN SHOW ABOUT WITH CORDELIA. You know, I have just had it with this gutless a$$hole consistantly refusing to bring up Cordelia, and NOW talking as if she didn't even exist to begin with on the GODDAMN show, probably to appease the worthless Bangel fanatics or else they'd probably put a petition to have this show cancelled too. |

This was posted and pretty much beaten to death a few weeks ago. It was funny the first time. Please let it lie at this point. (And when I say "please," I mean "special aluminum baseball bat." Thankyoudrivethru.)

Well, I for one hadn't read it before (hah, it happens?), so thanks for the... re-post?
It is a shame, though, but it's over and done with, so I can't say I'm bothered.

I hadn't read this before, but I kinda agree with somewhat of what DB is saying. In "Angel" there was really noone. Cordelia hadn't been with Angel for that long, it wasn't like "Angel and Buffy". But why bother.

Maybe it is just me, but DB is pretty to look at, but I don't think there is much upstairs....
Maybe he didn't recognize the banter for what it was...

To Boreanaz, "banter" meets "smoochies."
Now, that's enough of this silly talk, people. Don't make me pull out dancing Spidey.

TOTALLY agree. As I was reading DB's quote in the original post, I thought he was literaly talking himself in circles. I couldn't follow it. Then again, I stopped taking a lot of what he says too seriously right about the time of the blueberry rant. |
