It's now 17 votes between them. Anybody got a vote they haven't used yet?

CC now is in 72nd place with 1,462 votes, just over 200 away from passing Liv Tyler at #70. After that, it's a short sprint of about 30 votes to catch Jennifer Garner and break into the 60s bracket.

At 1,527, CC's now four votes away from the next space up. Once that's done, she's only about 150 votes away from the next bracket. Don't forget to visit again today!

CC is now in 71st place, about 150 votes shy of 70 and Liv Tyler. I bet we can get her past that hurdle by the end of the weekend, if not earlier!

Hoh! Kay. Who ARE these people?

And why aren't we, like 4th?

Who or what is 'Alsou?'
Why does 'Boa Kwon' have, like 22,000 votes?
Sarah Brightman? Sarah Brightman? Sarah Brightman?
Shannen Fucking Doherty? Get me a gun. Seriously.

I mean, really. (Where's Jayne and his 'I once hit a guy in the neck at 500 yards with a bent scope?') I mean, we have to rely on powers greater than 1 person, many votes. I don't want to get all all NRA or anything - and I can't now that I'm in possession of a California Driver's License (don't they have pistol ranges in this state? Beyond bizzare.) but doesn't the fact that some of these people are stealing vital oxygen from people who really need it need addressing? For humanitarian reasons alone!

Shania Twain.
Mariah Carey. (Are these two people the same? Isn't Shania Twain an Anogram for Mariah Carey? Help me out. I'm dyslexic. And I can't shoot straight. And I live in a state where the guns only shoot blanks on television and in the movies. And Jason Lee was actually killed by getting shot by a blank. Point blank. Only in California. I swear. And where is all this NRA stuff coming from? I'm a peaceloving humanoid. Hmm. )
Hilary Duff.
Oh. My. God.

And I've got carpal tunnel from all the voting I've done.

Ummm....

Take a breath, and back away from the keyboard. Set the coffee cup down, and don't put in any more of that so-called "sugar".

Remember, it's only an internet poll. (Of course, this is from someone who OBSESSED over that Buffy-babes vote, so you have every right to ignore me.)

As a general update:

CC is still at #71, now with 1,562 votes. She's exactly 130 votes away from Liv Tyler and the next place up. Don't forget to vote again if you can!

Heh. Well, I agree with you on Shannen Doherty (aside: She's got all the evidence of farkin' chain smoking. The teeth, the farked up gums, the sallow skin. Blech. Self induced nastiness)...not so much to get a gun but yeah.

On the other hand, I did find some of those top ranking Japanese celebs mighty beautiful (aside: The pianist in particular. Can't recall her name off the top of my head. ETA: Hikaru Utada). Enough to contemplating switching to the home team. And the Polish singer/actress? I didn't find her "Americanized" but I found her rather easy on the eyes.

...and I like Sarah Brightman. Granted, I find that women with a little "age" on them (and yet, not desperately grasping white knuckled to look like they're still 19. *cough*Mariah Carey*cough*) far more appealing than many of those on the list under 30.

But maybe that's just me.

And the anime fans may recognize the voice, if not the face, of Ayumi Hamasaki (#5) -- she performed (and, I believe, wrote) "Dearest," the third-season end title theme from Inuyasha. She's got pipes.

Charisma seems to have caught a big updraft sometime today; she's now at 1,626 votes and 70 votes away from the next place up. Once she gets into the 60s, the distance between places shrinks drastically for a stretch, and we can do a lot of damage really quickly.
