Goodbye, Columbo...
I'm not sure how this was missed, but I couldn't let him go without a mention.
I loved him as Columbo, but I absolutely adored him in "Pocketful of Miracles." And he seemed like such a real, sweet sweet guy. I hope he's at peace and his family finds peace as well. Peter Falk Dies |

Sad news. He was a terrific actor and was kind of everywhere during his career. (Can't forget him in The In-Laws, A Woman Under the Influence or Wim Wenders' original, German Wings of Desire, either.) And he made The Princess Bride unforgettable. Godspeed.

So sad.
Not just Columbo, Princess Bride, Mad, mad, mad, mad world, but all the guest spots he did in the early days ( even B&W) of TV. He had so many memorable roles. He will be greatly missed.

Damn, I had no idea. Quite sad to hear, always loved him as Columbo and of course Grandpa in The Princess Bride.
Of course, I think my favorite was Sam Diamond in Murder by Death
