What is a Mord'Sith exactly?
Great now I *have* to watch the show...I've been avoiding it like the plague.

I'm not wholly conversant on the LotS mythology, but from what I can tell they are a group of freaky tough women warriors who border on dominatrix-type stuff. And they wear some laced up skintight leather uniform. Go here:
http://www.legendoftheseeker.com/ And click on the ep "Denna". She is a Mord'Sith. All of them wear that red leather get-up. And I'm thinking CC is gonng look HOT in that outfit!

Wait'll you see how they act. The one in the ep we've seen spent some time and effort breaking down the lead guy's mind and will through at least borderline sexual sadism. Quite interested to see how CC plays out in this one.

I've come across this show a few times and was mildly intrigued but never really tuned in to watch a whole episode. Looks like I'm gonna have to start watching it. And with CC in leather and as a dominatrix no less, I think I can tune in.
ETA: Thanks for the news and the link.

I kindof wish she'd appear in something I actually watch That being said, I'd watch her in anything. Look forward to it!

My dream of seeing Charisma in a leather teddy, stiletto heels, and leather whip might come true.
Is this a one-episode deal or a recurring character?

Legend of the Seeker is a show loosely based on Terry Goodkind's better-than-average Sword of Truth fantasy series. Mord-Sith are like uber-dominatrices. They are feared elite body guards to the main bad guy, Lord Darken Rahl. They wear skin tight red leather armor (red because it doesn't show blood) and wield little phallic rods that cause intense pain in the target.
That being said, I don't remember a Mord-sith named Triana in the books, so it's probably a character created for the show. I doubt it would be a recurring character for CC, but wow it's a big coup for the show to get her and it will catapult her back into the fanboys' radar. The show is pretty good, especially if you don't compare it too closely to the books it is based on. I can't emphasize how excited about this I am!

ZOMG!!!! LotS is my new favorite show. It's cinematically filmed, has great fight scenes, a strong female character (the Confessor) and a young man on a hero's journey. Yeah, it's filled with enough cheese to power a mozzarella factory, but that's part of its charm. And the Mort'siths are my fave villains so far -- sexy heartless dominatrixes who still manage to make you feel sad for their lot in life. In other words, I think I'm having a fandom meltdown!!!

This. I just couldn't get into LotS at all. ::sigh:: Anyway, LotS is on Hulu for anyone who wants to catch up.

Hi guys,
Here is a pic taken at comic-con of the trailer Charisma was on. I for one am thrilled she is guest starring- I love Legend of the Seeker I really do recommend whoever tried to get into it but couldnt to try again cause it got so much better as the season progressed. The pic is dark but you can tell, Charisma looks awesome as usual http://www.imagebam.com/image/43202f42975712 Oh and the original post is here: http://rkc-erika.livejournal.com/76232.html There are a few spoilers in there about what Charisma will be doing in the ep

Oooooohhhhhh!! Great news! The MS's are great! The whole torture stuff with Richard was sexy as hell. I'm hoping CC will get to not only torture someone but show her fighting skills.
Thanks for the news and the picture. As for the spoilers in the con report....I'm guessing some fanboys will be very excited. If you want to check out what a MS is all about, watch episode 8, "Denna," on Hulu. Here's the image lightened up a bit and I played with the perspective a little. |
