StrangerCon 2007: Let's Set a Date (now with polling!)
It looks as if October may not be the best time for a StrangerCon, even for the people who already want to come -- so in the spirit of consensus, tell me what works best for you. I'll see if we can make it work for everyone....

I voted for Oct. but either Oct or Nov would work. Dec is a little dicey because of the holidays and September is crazy.
I already have plans to go to New Orleans for Mardi Gras 2008, so that's out for me.

To be honest next year would be best for me. October and November are busy months for me. However, if those months work best for others and I was free, I'd still try to attend.

Was the StrangerCon still going to be in Galveston? I went there 3 weekends ago, and it's as easy as pie for me to get there, now that I know how to do it. So any weekend that the Strangers gather could work for me. I'm a flexible sort as far as date, though it doesn't help much in planning.

I have a wedding in the UK in October (I'm here now, but I should be living in the US by October). I wouldn't mind November.
