that is so not CC's voice on the answering machine. did you notice the black necklace in the restuarant scene, it looked like the necklace she wore w/the outfit from hell.

It sounds to me that it's going to be one of those things where CC's character looks to be the killer but in the end it turns out to be someone totally different, most likely cop lady, who bares a resemblance, IMO to CC.

I hope you're right. I would love for CC to actually be the good guy (setting aside the whole burglary aspect). I know nothing about the story except the summary on the web site and the promo, so if you've heard more about it and that's the case, I'm much more excited to see it.

I think this story simply has the same name as the novel you're thinking of. I could be wrong, but the way CC herself has described the role makes me think it has nothing to do with the book someone looked up a couple of months ago.

Then again, maybe she was just trying not to let out any spoilers. I dunno.

Well, for one thing, I've seen more than one Lifetime movie promo give away the big twist surprise. (Like showing who the actual killer is when the entire movie is supposed to be about finding out who the killer is.) It seems like they try to pick the most exciting scenes from the movies for the promos. And if those scenes give away the mystery, so be it.

On the other end, their promos can be totally misleading. They have done promos that made it look like the female lead was a cold-blooded killer, only to have the movie actually be about a woman who's actually innocent, but is suspected of murder.

But the most misleading promo I've ever seen was for this John Ritter/Nicholette Sheridan (have no idea how to spell her name) movie. The movie is about a wife who's trying to kill her husband, and a whole lot of other people get killed in the process, but it's a comedy all the way around. A black comedy, but still a comedy. But, to go by the Lifetime promo, it's a serious and dramatic suspense thriller with not a drop of humor in sight.

Which basically means that, going by the promo won't necessarilly give you any real idea what a movie on Lifetime will actually be like.

I just checked and the movie is listed on the lifetime webpage. It has a small pic of the guy kissing CC on the cheek and a link 'With Charisma Carpenter' but they all go to the same place witch is the movie bio page we have seen before just with the picture on it now.

i have a new taoe, i just cleaned the VCR heads, and i am RED-DAY

i will go to the Lifetime site later, and vote for this movie to be released on DVD.
i want to see some extras, deleted scenes, goofs, and cast interviews

i know it's different networks, but wouldn't it be nice if we could get this movie, and See Jane Date on one disc.

It's the only way I might be able to see the movie. Unless some miracle happens and I go to my aunt's house today. ..or I catch the rerun next friday.
