Does anyone know the airdate? Because if this will air in the fall, Terry Bradshaw will promote it heavily on Fox NFL Sunday....

Who knows... he might bring the cast, including Charisma, to the studio and talk football...

According to the Zap2It article, it will air in September.

I must say, this is one of the first things I've heard for CC that I've actually WANTED to see - and it sucks that I don't get ABC Family in Canada. I'll have to figure out a way to be on a trip to the US when this airs, or something.

wow this is awesome news. Lots of good people in it besides CC and NB. I so have to take a road trip to Halifax(about 2 hours from where i live). I wonder if it will be played on regular ABC at a different time.

it's a sort of reunion for CC, NB, and Gorham too

he played the ghost who kept killing his teacher/lover near the Sadie Hawkins dance in Buffy's 'I Only Have Eyes For You'

even though CC and NB didn't have any scenes with him, they were still there

Two TV movies, a feature shooting in Nova Scotia

Relative Chaos, the ABC Family movie, was shooting in Chester on Tuesday and Wednesday.

The movie stars former Pittsburgh Steeler Terry Bradshaw, Christopher Gorham (Out of Practice, CSI and Felicity), Nicholas Brendon (Buffy and the Vampire Slayer), Charisma Carpenter (Buffy the Vampire Slayer, Angel, Veronica Mars), Fiona Reid (My Big Fat Greek Wedding), Jayne Eastwood (This Is Wonderland), Mayko Nguyen (ReGenesis), Jenn Robertson (Comedy Inc.) and local actors Stacy Smith (New Waterford Girl), Sarah English and Nikki Barnett (Sex Traffic, The River King).

The von Zerneck/Sertner Film is also using a home along the Purcells Cove Road side of the Northwest Arm.

It is down the road from the area off Purcells Cove Road where the Buddhist wedding preparations and celebrations are taking place.

The movie is expected to wrap next week, but producer Randy Sutter says the Los Angeles-based company is eyeing another project involving race cars and if things work out they hope to shoot it here this summer.

now, way down in the article is this paragraph

""Whoever wins, takes the cup home for that year,"" Sutter explains. ""The youngest boy who has never won, shows up with his soon-to-be wife, to find himself falling in love with an old friend who lives in the town and sends his fiancée on her way home. He wins the cup.""

now i'm wondering, which part will be played by CC, i hope it's not the fiancee, because she'll only be in part of the movie

now, you wouldn't call your fiancee a 'new girlfriend' would you. and the fiancee wouldn't have much motivation to have him win the cup, it wouldn't mean anything to HER,
so i'm hoping CC will play the hometown girl, who steals him away from his fiancee

Unfortunately, my money says CC has been cast as the fiancee.

I'm with Platy. The description sounds like "new girlfriend" (aka fiancee) is the bitch role which is what CC would be typecast in.

Alas, I've to go with Platy and Deb on this one, unfortunately. And who knows, maybe Gil will be there for CC's character after Dil breaks her heart.

well, i guess we'll just have to wait till we find out the fiancee's character name
(CC's character name is Katherine) but IMDB now only lists her as 'attached'
but the movie has been on IMDB for 2 weeks, and still no moviemeter rating, so they're pretty far behind on this one

but i can always hope CC will play the town girl

I can easily see her being very competitive at the beginning, taking a "win at all costs" approach that makes Dil uncomfortable. If the movie is a standard cliche, he then breaks up with her, gets back together with the 'sweet' girl next door, but everyone learns a valuable life lesson when he manages to win the cup anyway but without using any underhanded techniques. Nice guy finishes first, and all that jazz.

I suppose I should have used some sort of special ST font for some of that - but seriously, that's my best guess.
