love the show, and i started a thread here saying that the star alexandra chardo reminds me a lot of CC, some of her facial expressions and she sometimes sounds like her too.

The show has had a half year run (12 eps I think).

It's ABC Family's answer to Ringer, and Deadly Sibling Rivalry (weird with CC now connected).

The initial premise is, one twin replacing another.

the twins were seperated at birth and found each other online. the rich one,sutton, who was adopted, had a good life,friends,money,etc. asked the one who wasn't adopted, emma, who was in foster care, only had one good friend,herfoster mother only wanted money and another foster kid in the same house is a perv, to trade places with her so she could find their birth mother.

sutton is b*tchy and "cranky" so when emma takes over she is a nicer sutton, she gets along better with her parents,becomes closer to her sister, does better in school etc. the only person who knows who emma is is sutton's "secret" bf who now isn't a secret.

there is a mystery about who is the actual birth mother, what happened to her. sutton's adopted father and her godfather,adrian pasdar, are up to something. adrian pasdar is up to something hinky.

now sutton is upset with emma b/c the secret bf broke up with her to get together with emma, sutton was put in juvie for something emma was accused of and is now poed at emma, so she has come back to get her lofe back and accused emma via letter to her parents that emma is an imposter and is trying to take over her life.

it is a guilty pleasure like "pretty little liars". i also like that thay aren't just focusing on the twins, you also get some stories with the family, sutton's mom is helen slater, and her friends.

The show returns Mon. Jan 02, 2012 at 9:00 P.M. Eastern time on ABC family.

CC is in the first episode.

There are going to be a few new faces in Phoenix when The Lying Game returns Jan. 2, but the one we’re most looking forward to is Charisma Carpenter as Char’s (Kirsten Prout) estranged aunt Ann! HollywoodLife.com caught up with Alexandra Chando and Blair Redford at ABC Family’s Winter Wonderland event Dec. 4 in NYC for the scoop on what Charisma will bring to the show, as well as what viewers can expect from Ethan and Emma’s rocky relationship.

While Alexandra couldn’t give too much away about Charisma’s character, she was more than happy to gush about working with her.

“She is very sweet,” Alexandra told us. “We only did one scene together, and it was kind of in passing, but I think we’re going to have more in the future. She’s awesome, she’s great.”

As for whether or not Emma can keep bad-boy Ethan from ending up in juvie remains unclear.

“When is Ethan not getting himself intro trouble?” Blair responded to our question about Ethan’s future legal woes. “I think you can expect a lot more trouble from him when the show comes back.”
