One thing I did notice is that there sure are a lot of lawyer shows in the works.

Some of my preferences:
David Boreanaz/ABC series (for obvious reasons)
Halley's Comet (it sounds like a challenging role)
Dennis Hopper/NBC series (It'll be interesting to see if he can do comedy)
Mr. and Mrs. Doe (I like the premise)
Laws of Chance (Charisma on a show only 50 miles from where I live, woohoo!)

here's some more from ABC:
Frank Spotnitz's "Night Stalker"
"In Justice" a legal drama about passionate lawyers trying to help the wrongly accused.
"lennie rose" a dramedy about a single woman looking for love and fortune in gotham

on the WB "supernatural" the spooky hour long from scribe-exec prod erik kripke, also w/david nutter

on NBC "world of trouble" a drama from peter noah, femme-headed ensembler follows FBI agents who solve crimes against Americans living abroad.

Who was it - Susan Sarandon? Goldie Hawn? Jamie Lee Curtis? Said the career path of a Hollywood actress was teenage horror victim/hero >> ingenue>> girlfriend >> assistant District Attorney >> Stepmom? CC's not old enough for step mom, but she's definitely DA material - or maybe an attorney for pets, since she loves animals.

I think CC's old enough to play a step mom. She's in her mid-thirties. I know she looks good but she still looks in her thirties to me.

The Perez Family on Fox is looking for a young stepmom. CC is only 34.

This may be promising - it's a sitcom that hasn't been cast yet (assuming CC is still gunning for a sitcom), and it's on NBC, which has to think somewhat highly of CC after her guest roles on Miss Match and LAX. I've taken the description from a Zap2It article:

Quote:
NBC, meanwhile, has ordered a comedy pilot from writer/actor Carlos Jacott ("Being John Malkovich," "She Spies") called "I Love Faron Hitchman." The show, whose order is contingent on casting, centers on newlyweds whose families can't stand each other and are wondering if they tied the knot too quickly.

What is it with the sudden love of Las Vegas? You've got CSI, Vegas, Dr. Vegas (which I liked but is apparently now dead) and now another one in the works? I like Vegas, but I don't get the appeal of setting shows there. It gets to be overdone.

More pilot possibilities for CC - descriptions taken from a Zap2It article. The ones I think are the most promising:

This for Fox - some of you may like the Joan of Arcadia link:

Quote:
"Brennan" is about a forensic anthropologist who uses her expertise to help solve crimes when other investigative methods have come up short. Hart Hanson ("Joan of Arcadia") is writing the script, which will be based on the character of Temperance Brennan from author Kathy Reichs's best-selling novels.
Another NBC comedy - and I'm still hoping that CC's connections to NBC are good. This one has "Scrubs" credentials, and I actually think CC would be great in a teacher role.

Quote:
NBC, meanwhile, has ordered a comedy called "Fillmore Middle" from "Scrubs" writer-producer Matt Tarses. The pilot, whose order is contingent on casting, is about young teachers at a middle school.
And finally, a UPN pilot with an Aaron Spelling connection, which may also be an "in" for CC:

Quote:
Finally, UPN has greenlit a Spelling TV show called "Crazy," about a female psychiatrist who draws insight on her own life through the issues of her patients. Sarah Thorp wrote the script and will executive produce with Aaron Spelling, E. Duke Vincent and Ed Zuckerman.

Heh. This is the guy who's been in all three of Whedon's TV ventures thus far. He played Ken in "Anne," Richard in "Bachelor Party," and was in the Firefly pilot.

What is it with shows about siblings these days?

In addition to that:

Quote:
ABC, meanwhile, has given the green light to two comedies: an untitled project about thirtysomething singles dating in Philadelphia...
Sounds good for CC, no?

This one sounds promising. I'd love to see CC in something a la Sex in the City.

Quote:
UNTITLED LIZ TUCCILLO PROJECT (The WB, New!) - Liz Tuccillo ("Sex and the City") has scored a one-hour pilot order from the Frog for a new dramedy which tracks four adult sisters in Manhattan who together struggle through career and romance. Warner Bros. Television and Steve Pearlman's Class IV Productions are behind the project, which will be executive produced by Tuccillo, Pearlman, Class IV's Andrew Plotkin and "Friends" co-creator Marta Kauffman.

So basically it's 'Sex and The City' only with a PG Rating!

Didnt know where else to post this. I had a charisma Carpenter dream. (guessing because I was tired when I was encoding a video of a thing she was on.) Consider this two unofficial ideas for Charisma.

First she was on an ep of a show like the Drew Carrey show. She played the hot chick the guys in the store were checking out as she tried on clothes.

Second was on an ep of Law and Order SVU.
A guy has a list of 4 women that all have the same name who he starts killing. (That was the plot of a nash bridges ep I watched two days ago.)

Anyway he kills the first two. Then he almost kills the third but she gets away. The 3rd is played by Charisma. She winds up in the hospital under guard. She is weak and can only give a basic decription of the guy. While at the hospital she is brought flowers and get well stuff by a few people including a Rabbi.

Then some cops arrest a construction worker for the murders and attack. Everyone thinks the case is all over when the Captain of the SVU is talking with the cop who made the arrest. A lab tech comes and says DNA doesnt match with the construction worker with the left over from the attack. He didnt do it.

The SVU Captain bolts to the elevator. It seems they pulled the police guard because they thought they had the guy. Cut to the girls (charisma's) room and the Rabbi is dressed as a nurse and trying to inject something in her IV. She knows its him and is trying to scream but cant. Then the Captain runs in and tackles him to the ground.

Next the woman played by Charisma is shown long after the court case and her hospital stay is done. She is shown on a tv show like Oprah reading from her just written book about the attacks.

Then I woke up. And the Captain in my dream was the only cast member I saw from SVU in my dream. The bald guy in the dvd cover.

And I am guessing I got the reading the book thing at the end because of the part like it at SJD wich I was working on a cdr of.

Isn't Shannen Doherty putting together another SaTC pilot too? Not that I would wish that on CC.
