I actually agree to a degree with Prima here. And that is why savingangel is no longer raising money. We worked in conjunction with ME and when they told us we had done all we could and to make our charitable donation we did just that.

Now that does not say we will not try to encourage FOX Studios to consider a Buffy-Angelverse film or other marketable venture later. The shows are over but the Buffy-Angelverse has not died in the hopes of many.

I personally will watch any and all future venture no matter who is featured in it.

Any venture? Even 'Spike & Illyria Do Vegas:The Leather Apocalypse'?

Kidding, kidding. They wouldn't really...? Nah.

This makes me giggly. I don't know why, but it does.
Giggly, the bad use of money or giggly the *hee*?

O.k., so I have a horrible sense of humor.

For any of you that don't get it, you have to go back and read the whole post. Not that I'm suggesting that any of you's is skipping a page.

Money put to bad use, eh? I'm guessing Wolfram and Hart had something to do with it? Wait... what the show is over...When did THIS happen? Why God why? WHYYYYYYYYYYY?...WAIT! I have an idea! Why don't we send money to SAVE the show? Ha, yah...anybody with me?...What, your saying people ALREADY sent money to...

Speaking of fan campaigns raising funds, what ever happened to the other DB ad that was competing with the one endorsed here at ST and at TDBUK? I seem to remember several fan groups expressly endorsing the other ad as opposed to the one affiliated with us, on the grounds that the other people were somehow more trustworthy, and it seems as though they had raised a good chunk of change at one point - did it ever go through to completion? I would hate to think that anyone was warned off of the ST project and directed towards another one that never got off the ground.

At the moment, nothing has happened. The ad was rescheduled at one point but that date has long gone and they still have to raise about fifty percent of the cost from what I last heard.

It seems a lot of people ended up disappointed at the lack of communication from the ad organisers and how ultimately only a few people decided on the wording, even though they made a point that everyone would be heard. I feel sorry for those that contributed as there's still nothing to show for it.

Platy, I found a link with a bit of 'info' on the Other Ad. If it takes off, looks like it will be pretty much after the event. Better late than never, yes?

You mean the money wasn't used to fund the Nicaraguan Contras?

Well, years passed and the white cat grew weak and died of old age. The tiger-striped cat cried a million times and then he died, too. Except this time, he didn't come back to life."

I think the interview Lisa (TxVooDoo) did that time pretty much summed it up.

Not "could have," sugar. Just "chose to." There's a difference.
