Pardon me while I whimper silently - I'm not good with change.

Just one quick note - because of the change to the background colour, "spoiler" font is no longer quite invisible, just faded very very very very light greyish/purple. On the other hand, when I click on the dot next to my name, it tells me "Platypus is invisible". Hee. I'm invisible, I'm invisible - you can't see me! I am like a spoiler, only even more spoilery...

I just noticed that there could be a small problem with stuff like our "Word association" game. When you type down a short word, you get a message that you have to type at least 10 characters.

Wow this new board is different. I'm sure I'll like it once I get used to it, but I have one question... I REALLY loved the old collage of pictures that we had a choice of before. It included a pic from 'Heartthrob' where Cordy was having a vision on the floor and Angel is holding her arm. Do you ever think we'll get that one back?

Pretty please! To me that pic IS Stranger Things and I loved it.

Jenny, that's "Original Flavor" and it's hooked back up. As always, you can choose it from Edit Options in the User CP.

Platy, I'm still porting all the custom styles to the templates, but the spoiler font should be spoilery again momentarily.

Thanks for mentioning all the new quirks; I'll adjust them shortly.

Could you maybe also put up another version of that one with the purple background (like in the vBulletin 2 Default style)? I'd also love to have that banner back but as a Stranger this blueish style just irritates me too much.

Wow! The blue was a bit of a shock, but I kind of like the new look. (Not that it's blue, but the new setup and stuff.) Look at all these buttons to use while replying! lol

Will the purple ever be back?

Wow, everything's so...big. It's like the ST board for the visually impaired or retarded.

But I love the way the bold, italic, color, etc. work now. Sooooo much easier. It'll take some getting used to but I think we can do it.

Everyone should have The Purple now. I'm continuing to tweak the master styles, and there's still some blue on navbars and such, but that too may go away over the next day or so.

The good news -- for me -- is that the style manager in this version of vBulletin kicks ass. Now that all the skins have been linked to a default parent, I can change the whole batch with one action. Suhweeeet!

A few more things:

Spoiler font is invisible again.

The minimum-character limit per post has been zeroed out again.

I've shortened the delay between posts from three minutes to two. Enjoy.

There are options to shorten the posting menus. I'll explore those, too.

More tweaks over the next few days.

Wow this change is a trip.

So we finally updated our box next to the dumpster huh? Hmm I like it.

Dude this feels like I should be going down memory lane on the countless other times the board has changed. Lets see there was the pink board, and the blue board and the green pop up hell, then there was the orange layout to suit the tennis Charisma pics and……

All the threads are still blue on my screen - the background and banner are purple, but the larger thread boxes and posts are different shades of blue. I'm going to go to bed and pray real hard, and hopefully when I wake up everything will be purple again.
