No Ordinary Family
NBC picked up Julie Benz's new series, No Ordinary Family. Greg Berlanti is the producer. He's had some decent series (Dirty Sexy Money, Eli Stone), but seems to be stuck in the 1 or 2 year wonder arena. Anyway, with Heroes likely (and finally) gone, it's this series for your ordinary-people-turn-superhero stories.

Looks good, like the premise. Sort of a grown-up version of The Incredibles. (Not that I don't love The Incredibles just like it is...)
I'm in!

First, it's ABC, not NBC. Second, they've scheduled No Ordinary Family for Tuesday at 8. Fire up the VCR. Or DVDR. Or PVR. Or some sort of recording device.
And look, a cast pic.

They're putting it up against NCIS, assuming it keeps its Tuesday at 8 slot. Does that also put it up against AI, once it starts airing again (even w/ AI's reduced schedule)?

It would be up against Glee in the fall and AI at midseason.

ABC is hosting a previews of the pilot. If you don't want to register with ABC.com, try getting a userid/password from bugmenot.
I watched; it was good. A touch 'too-too' in places, but overall, lots of promise.

Julie Benz has signed up for a pilot for CBS. Micheal Chiklis did last week as well. Guess the writing's pretty clear regarding NOF's chances of renewal.
