I love the Zodiac books! I recced them earlier in the thread. Joanna Archer can be very annoying as a main character, but I kind of like that she's not a Sue. She feels like a real person to me. And she screws up a lot--and usually owns up to it. The last one, with the other Tulpa was a little wonky, but I'll still buy the new one when it comes out. I HAVE to see what happens between her and Hunter. Phrowr!

This is fun reading but I gotta wonder what the *hell* comes with the books/movies that the rest of the world doesn't know about....magic 'shrooms?

Remember when it was enough just to ship characters and NOT make the actors the point of one's existence?

Derailing the topic here but it seems to have really flared up with Brad Pitt and Angelina Jolie on Mr. and Mrs. Smith. It seems that on every show, every movie these days, shippers are shouting about co-stars doing it. You've got the casual fans sure but then you've got the hardcore nutters who think every look, every touch, means tru luv 4eva.

I finally found that vampire series that I read back in high school! It's the Diaries of the Family Dracul by Jeanne Kalogridis!

http://www.amazon.com/Jeanne-Kalogridis/e/B000AQ446A/

It's been a long time since I read them, but I remember just loving them. Seriously, read them and enjoy! I already ordered them, and I can't wait to re-read!

Stephanie Meyer takes vampire mythology and lore and dumps a pile of sh!t on it. Seriously, glittery skinned? The Cullens are all flawless, Mary Sue and Gary Sue characters who make me want to hurl or slit my wrist from annoyance. Edward is completely one-dimensional and there's nothing special about him; other than the fact that he was Stephanie's wet dream in written form. I abhor Bella, she's supposed to be this reliable teenager that everyone adores because she's so clumsy and cute. What the hell ever. She's desperate, she apparently cannot survive without the attention of a male as seen within New Moon, and she's oddly pitiful. When Edward leaves her, she falls apart. I mean come on, she becomes clinical depress because some guy leaves her? Who she barely knew for a year at that point? Whatever. And Breaking Dawn, just ruins it all; not like there was anything good before, of course.

That's basically my opinion on it, after reading the entire series, and gagging through the chapters. Plus, she sucks at writing anyways.

Thanks. Heh. Good thing I know there is such a thing as a difference in tastes, and I can appreciate that other people like things that I don't. Like Spike.

Perhaps, but you don't have a right to be rude to ther users. Angela may have a better sense of humor on things than I do, but the conversation was enough to make me feel uncomfortable as a thread reader.

We get it. YOU don't like it. Other users do. Agree to disagree and move on.

C'mon, aika. Anyone who can throw a phrase like 'explosive diarrhea' around so freely clearly has a way with words. We can never have enough of that sort of scintillating conversation.
