Charisma to Guest-Star on Supernatural

I cannot wait for this episode. Despite my spoiler phobia, I find myself reading things about it that I would usually avoid. But I'm going to lay off now and wait to see it for myself.

Recently, some fans did a whole study, with charts and everything, on this whole, "SPN kills off all way more female characters because they hate women," situation. I was sad someone felt the need to do this, but can't say I blame them considering.

Basically, they watched all the episodes and kept track of the sex of any character that had died. What they found was that, when it came to evil characters, the deaths were split about 50-50. But when it came to non-evil characters, more non-evil male characters had died than non-evil female characters.

When it comes down to it, SPN has a high body count. Nobody on that show is safe. But, for some reason, many people perceived that female characters on the show got killed off much more often than male characters. And it just sort of snowballed. Now, let any female character die on the show, and you'll hear cries of "Misogyny!" all across the Internet.

I'm hoping for a gotcha twist where James is really the witch and is trying to frame CC so she gets killed by Hunters. I think that would be a great twist really and kind of in line with the kind of OMG! that SPN likes to go for.

I'm spoiler-free, too, but something about the way Don's holding his wine glass in that picture -- just sitting back watching -- makes me think he's masterminding something, too. I'm kind of hoping so. I like it when James is bad.

Long time lurker, first time posting.

I am really looking forward to this Friday's episode.

It got me to thinking of Cordelia/Spike interaction on "Buffy The Vampire Slayer" and "Angel." If memory serves correctly, they only shared scenes in three episodes.

Season Two of "Buffy," there's "Halloween." Season One of "Angel," "In The Dark," and Season Five of "Angel," "You're Welcome."

There was one scene in the "Buffy" episode "School Hard," where Spike is patrolling the hallways with his threat of "if I find any of your friends I will suck them dry and beat you to death with their bones," or something like that, and you can see Cordelia trembling in the closet when she hears this, but they don't actually meet.

Can anybody think of any other episodes I might have missed, where Cordelia and Spike share scenes together?

Obviously, however, Spike must have noticed Cordelia (who wouldn't?) in his time in Sunnydale, because when they do have their showdown in "In The Dark," he comments that she looks good, and asks if she's lost weight. And Angel advises her to stay with Doyle, because since Spike knows her full name, he can track down where she's living and burn down her apartment. I like the small details like this.

This is just my way of saying how much I'm looking forward to this Friday's "Supernatural."

I kinda like it too. It's like Angel knowing way more about her than he should given the limited amount of episodes where they shared scenes. Now, it's more likely the writers were being lazy and not taking into account their own continuity and history, but whatev. It's canon, and that means Spike and Angel BOTH noticed Cordelia a lot more than was shown on camera.

And that works for me.
