Are there some screencaps or files to see CC's work?

And for men's channel, they got the porn at night, the cars and sports, etc. And you could think, "okaayy, is the stereotype: men wants cars and boobs only and women wants cooking lessons and cheesy or stupid movies".... Yeahhhh, that's sooo accurate .. But also, at least for FX in latin America, the "men channels" have series like: Titus, Arrested Development, X-files, NYPD Blue, Rescue me, My name is Earl, Deadwood... while we get a soap opera and some Melissa Gilbert's 80s movie......WTF?!!!!!!! Some of you guys found more deep than I did in FWD.
I had hoped for more, but everything was just suface. The characters had little depth, and the dialog was uninspired. It came across as a typical hurriedly made, cheap movie. Too bad. I love Charisma, and she was astonishingly pretty in the movie, but it was not her best work. (I do think the red robe scene, where we see Charisma turn back and look seductively over her shoulder, was an homage to VM, though, don'tcha?) Oh well. So much anticipation. So much let down. |

So over-all, is it worth trying to catch at all? I assume it will eventually make its way up here to Canada (it was shot in Montreal, and I think the production company has some sort of deal in place with the Canadian movie network), but it may not be for many months, so I'll have to actively make sure I'm keeping an eye out for it. Based on some of the comments, it doesn't seem like it will be worth the effort.

It's not something I would watch again, However, if you're willing to watch something just for CC then yes.

Be warned, though, the film's underlying OMG CLAS W0RF4REZ!!11! meme makes Veronica Mars look subtle by comparison. It's not pretty.

One question. I remember that the articule announcing CC doing a Lifetime movie say it was based on a book (White Silhouette?) and that her character was a catbugglar called Samantha. (even at IMDB were posted both FWD and WS). So .... the articule was wrong? They didn't get the rights to use the book? Or is this was another different movie and the press mixed both projects? Because, maybe they're planning to do that movie later

Val, that wasn't an article, that was someone on the board who'd found a book called Flirting With Danger at Amazon and thought the movie might be based on it. As it turns out, all they had in common was the title.
"White Silhouette" was listed at IMDB as an alternate title for the movie FWD.

Platy, I'd recommend it just so you can say you've seen everything in CC's library. But like Penny said, don't expect much. It truly is a Chuck-Norris-film-for-chicks. |

I totally forgot that CC's movie was coming up, and from the sound of it, I'll just sit here and wait for the screencaps as opposed to catching the re run. It doesn't really sound like my cuppa tea. |

after viewing CC''s parts of the movie again, i have a few more things to say
damn, the woman has an ass, if she stood on her head, you could sit a glass on her butt cheeks. J-Lo has nothing on her, and that goes for the rest of her body, and her acting also it was nice to see they used a couple of the same sex positions i used in my fanfic, (but i used so many positions, they would be hell-bent to not use a couple of them) i would much rather see CC in a romantic comedy, a full comedy, or a real kick ass part, but over-all i was very happy with her performance. she ranged from happy, to sexy. to angry, to crazy, and excelled at them all but i want to see her as a snarky kick-ass woman, i wanted to SEE her as that cat burgler from the book it sure is a let-down, all that waiting, and now with her 2 appearances on Veronica Mars being postponed, i have nothing to look forward to

I'll watch anything CC is in but this was a pretty dopey flick.
She was Hot as always, but she needs to be in better fare. I tolerated it but that came to an end when the southern accents came out. As a southern good ol' boy, it's ALWAYS bad when non natives fake it. Her effort was not offensive as most are, but it's NEVER a good idea. Worst ever- DeNiro in "Cape Fear" Anyway like they say any exposure is good exposure. And like Freakface would say more skin exposure is always good Also, I think she may be a bit more lean now in 'Veronica' than when this was shot. Thats great too, but no more, cause there needs to be less anorexic chicks in ALL flicks.

I guess the men in the audience are to absorb the received truth that "All women are control freaks so, aaahhh, better the control freak you know, or something." Oh wait, men don't watch these movies, do they? Aaaaaanyway. CC is A Good, and I'm looking forward to "Voodoo Moon" a lot more anyway. But I wanna see Charisma doing more comedy. Comedy is totally her business.
