See? Everyone wins.

You have to admit, RR is a realyl good director and he's got bank after Sin City did so well (critically and finacially).

I honestly would like to see a RR or QT take on a comic book movie/genre. I find that all too often the heart of the story is overlooked and you're only left with the flash (style, cool FX, etc).

So, yeah give it to RR or Qt, or hell give it to TB and let him cast Mr. Depp as the male lead

You could even cast him as WW. He is pretty enough.

I can't see Rodriguez using CC as WW. He's one of those guys who seems to like tapping his friends. If he directs WW, he'd probably try to cast Carla Gugino in the title role. Which could work. She's got the figure and the all-American warmth.

Well, in that case, I have some more candidates to look at once you've been dosed.

Dude, that guy looks so proud that he fits the tights.

Sin City nosedived in it's second week of release, that's not doing well finacialy and most of praise I saw heaped upon it came from the Harry Knowles' of the Net.

I couldn't stand Miller as a Writer and can't stand him now. I'm sure he'll get another movie made and when that one flops like this one did we'll all get to hear him yelling that we don't get his genius.

Considering it's box office totals for a scifi/genre film, I don't think the industry would conisder it a failure.

The thing's got "cult classic" written all over it, which is one of his specialties. I don't see him yelling "You don't get my genius" when he knows a large part of his cachet as a director is his influence.

Face it, EVERY movie takes a nose dive after a couple of weeks. Revenge of the Sith took a nosedive, Return of the King took a nosedive, and I don't hear anyone calling them a failure. Theaters are showing the big movies on 10 - 12 screens average, with showings every 30 minutes. Now I'm not big on the math, but obviously more people are seeing these movies in the first week alone, than you used to get in the entire first month of release. There's just no way you're going to be able to stay at the top for more than a couple of weeks with the way things are set up now.

Here's the bit about CC from Wrongda's official chat transcript:

Quote:
From francisco: Charisma! How was she? Hot?

Stuuuuunnnnning. (And worth every letter of that.) Told me she's been working out twice a day and is dying to be Wonder Woman. "My focus right now is a half-hour [series] or Wonder Woman," she says. "That would be too cool for school."

K: Do you feel like that's happening really soon?
C: I don't know. Ask Joel [Silver]; he's the producer.
K: Now I see why you're doing Veronica Mars.
C: Oh, no, no, no! Really, I'm friends with Rob, and I love this show.

Dude, Charlie and the Chocolate Factory took a nose dive in it's second week, earning only $23 Million (as opposed to $54 Million it's opening weekend). And guess what! It's a success! It's a hit.

For the record. Sin City earned
$29,120,273 (USA) (3 April 2005) (3,230 Screens)
$14,154,696 (USA) (10 April 2005) (3,230 Screens)

That's about the same drop off as CatCF.

ETA - What LL said.
