Just curious - is that 350-400 for this forum, or 350-400 for the board as a whole? Can you measure the statistics on a forum by forum basis?

And thanks for fixing the poll and removing the question mark on the "Division" option!

That's the whole board. I suppose one could count the number of views per thread in each forum and compare, but let's face it, who's gonna?

Not I. But even so, it can be misleading. Multiple views for any one thread or forum could just as easily be explained by the same members checking for updates, and wouldn't give any indication of individual members. That's why I'm surprised by how many individual votes the poll has in under 24 hours - to me, that's a much more reliable (and happy) surprise that tells me that even if people aren't posting, they're still checking out the CC forum on a fairly regular basis and that therefore interest in CC's career post-AtS isn't waning a bit. On the contrary - I can remember posting polls back in the good old days of Season 3 which didn't necessarily register as much "individual" interest, even though they may have had more discussion.

All of which is to say - I think there are a lot of us who are still waiting patiently for the next bit of CC news, checking in to ST on a regular basis and hoping to hear something concrete (and preferably long-term) soon.

(I haven't seen the "Division", but I think the character's name was Emma - Penny, if I'm wrong and you'd like to edit the option that would be cool by me.)

Note that I do realize that one of those guest roles was a reprise of Cordelia in "You're Welcome", and I purposely excluded it from this poll. I guess you can just go ahead and call me a "faux" fan. (But really - being a faux fan is all the rage these days - all the kewl kids are doing it!)

So which one was your favourite? And why?

I was very impressed by Charisma's performance on *The Division*. She just showed wonderful range, and I hope we will be able to see her in more projects like that.

I picked her Miss Match performances. She seemed more at ease with the character, and from what I could tell she just breezed through her scenes with seemingly little effort. Very relaxed. Of course that could be because Serena was a bit "Early Cordy" like, but much nicer in the long run.

I have to admit that I found SJD a bit painful to watch. Not that Charisma was painful to watch mind you, she was great and more than proved she could handle a leading role, I just didn't like the overall story or any of the other characters. So that kinda skewed my feelings for Jane as well.

The Division was another great performance, but even though she moved me a couple of times, there were other times her performance felt a bit forced.

Do I have to turn in my TF badge now?

Emma... some of her best work

I mulled over the choices quite a bit.

At first, I was inclined to go with Jane (SJD), because this was Charisma's first role post-Angel, and she was the entire focus of the two hour movie.

But, even though romantic comedies are among my favorite vices, the movie and the role itself was just... well, too uninteresting. She did as well as could be expected, I guess, but SJD was not top notch.

Her role as The Seer shows Charisma off as breath-takingly beautiful. But the character is too Cordelia-esque. While I enjoyed seeing CC on the screen, I don't think she brought anything new to the role. That may have been the producers design: they may have wanted Cordy-snarkiness. With The Seer, CC had far too little screen time. Gimme more!

The role of Serena on MM was far more interesting to me than the other two. Like The Seer, she had some Cordelia qualities; but unlike The Seer, her character was given far more depth and complexity. She drew me into her story several times, and I was surprised by how much range she gave a character that could have been very one dimensional.

But far and away my favorite of Charisma's post Angel roles is Emma, from The Division. This was so totally unlike any other role she has done (the coma notwithstanding ) Charisma truly got to show off her acting chops. Emma was nothing like Cordy. Charisma had to create this woman and sell the viewer. I was moved by Emma's pain and loneliness, and touched with her tender, cautious reunion with her child.

I also picked the Division. Several things about that appearance impressed me, but the biggest was that she totally sold me on the character. Often, when seeing someone I'm familiar with in a different part, I can't help seeing them as the character I've come to know them as. For example, Jerry Ryan of Voyager was in Dracula 2000. Through the whole movie, I couldn't stop seeing her as an evil Seven of Nine.

On the Division, I stopped seeing CC as Cordy (or even as CC) about 5 or 10 minutes into the show. She was Emma, this woman who had lost a huge chunk of her life, and was just in shock over it all. After the episode aired, I was still sad about how much of her life she'd missed, and how she'd woken up to find so many of the people she'd loved gone, and how she'd missed her son's childhood. The way CC played it, so much of the characters pain was internal, and it just pulled me in.

I picked Miss Match. I think that role really played to Charisma's strengths as an actress. It almost could have been written specifically with her in mind. The Division was a strong performance, but it's not really my cuppa. See Jane Date...well, now, that really is my cuppa, and had the movie been half as good as the book it would undoubtedly have gotten my vote. But it wasn't so it didn't. And while Charmed is fun, there's not just enough Charisma in it for me pick that as a fave.

Interesting - "Miss Match" is now tied with "See Jane Date". I wonder how many of the people who chose "Miss Match" had the opportunity to see the two as-yet-unaired-in-the-US episodes? I said right from the start that I may change my vote depending on how much I like those two, but I won't see them until later this year on Canadian networks.

I picked Miss Match too, and was one of the people fortunate enough to see those two additional episodes. I think I'm drawn more towards the type of character Serena was - snarky but with a heart, and do enjoy Charisma's ability to play those types of roles so well.

i always thought of Serena as what Cordelia might have become WITHOUT the influences of Buffy, and Angel and the hellmouth.

smart, sexy, and sassy, came from a rich family, was the queen bitch in high school, and college, and carries a lot of that into her job, BUT still has a heart of gold
