Ok, this may be stupid but.. to keep voting you don't have to vote once and then press 'back'. I've been pressing vote for as long as I can stand it and it counts them all. I wonder if this has been what the SMG fans are doing!!

The standings thus far:

53% - Sarah Michelle Gellar as Wonder Woman (21175 votes)
45% - Chrisma Carpenter as Wonder Woman (18166 votes)

If Charisma wants WW, I want her to have it. Guys, you can do multiple voting on this one. Current standings (with a little help from my left clicker!) are
SMG 21,327 votes so she has 51%
Charisma Carpenter 19,700 with 47%

Lets try and get 20,000 at least? Plus, they haven't even spelt CC's name right. Maybe if she won the poll or even better got the role that would improve her profile?

What kind of idiot serious believes SMG is in any way suited to play Wonder Woman? Not only does she lack the physical stature, she's also an one note actress.

Oh come on! One note? If it wasn't for her, Buffy wouldn't have got off the ground! The lead had to be played well. You watch her in S1 Btvs. She has everything already in place, whereas others have still stuff to learn.

Her too young to die speech in Prophecy girl alone was just superb. I'm not saying every scene she has ever done is great work, but she made that role of Buffy, and everything you've seen since then has sprung from that. If she hadn't made Buffy work, the show wouldn't have worked.

I admit she isn't tall, but I dunno if height is a requirement. I guess we've probably all got a certain image after Lynda Carter's performance.

Well, I looked yesterday, and while I don't remember the numbers exactly, the Charisma rumor was the one most hoped would be true.

If I recall correctly, CC's rumor led by about 7,000 votes (yes, I typed seven THOUSAND).

Approx 32,000 for the CC rumor to 25,000 for the SMG rumor.

Percentagewise, CC led 54% to 44%.

I wish I could be more specific for you. Those numbers changed so FAST!

I don't see any mechanism the website has for revealing the poll results. Maybe they won't. It was likely a vehicle to get us to look at some of their web ads.
