Help! Posting Fics at Yahoo Groups
I have asked everyone (smart people, too) and no one seems to know.
How do I keep bold and italics intact when posting fic on a Yahoo list? |

Short answer is I don't know that you can. Longer answer is that you could post it as an HTML e-mail with strong and emphasis tags. Know in advance, though, that people who have set their preferences to text-only or to reject HTML e-mails still wouldn't see the strong and emphasis text and may not get your mail at all.

Thanks, Penny. I'll try to find another way to emphasize words.

When I used to post fic on egroups (many years ago) I used an asterisk either side of a word or phrase for emphasis.

Great minds think alike, then. That's what I did.

I think fanfiction.net takes basic italic and bold codes - unless they have changed the rules. I know I once c&p'd an html'd fic and it came out fine.
