This was a pilot that I guess was never aired on TV! I never saw this before, if you haven't either, it's pretty old school.

Edit: Apparently this was on TV, on YouTube, it said un-aired. oopsy. Well, it's cool to watch anyway.

This was a marketing preview for the series they put together sometime around mid-BtVS season three. The WB used it to sell advertising time and preview the series premise to critics and the like. It is pretty cool. Ah, the good old days of innocence.

Wasn't this used as a trailer for the series? I remember seeing it on the WB before Angel debuted.

I have Season 1 on DVD, and I haven't seen it. Maybe I'm wrong, but I don't know if it's on there. There is a clip or two from this pilot, but I'm pretty sure the entire pilot isn't on it. Unfortunately I don't see a way for you to download this to your computer, but you could always go to YouTube (http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=1XZW6...&search=Angel), take the link, and bookmark it.

ETA: And I never truly realized how skinny CC was back then. She looks much more better with the weight on and way more gorgeous.

That was a great vid - thanks so much for sharing. It brought back all the hope and promise of this series when it first started.

I noticed in one part, Angel said "she was my first love" when describing Buffy.

Hmmm. Sort of says it all doesn't it?

Too bad JW's follow through *sucked*.

OMG Angel, thanks. I'll bookmark it. Oh, and I noticed Angel said Buffy was his first love, that stood out for me too. It's a shame the growing love was sacrificed in the end. I really need to get over that.
