It looks as if our host's upstream connections have recovered from this morning's SeQueL Slammer attack that took down several major nameservers, routers, and backbone providers. In the event of further network trouble, please bookmark The Backyard Board for updates and The Usual Stuff.

It's also a good idea to join our Yahoo!Group, StrangerForum, for e-mail updates.

Is there still something wrong? I keep getting the same email sent to me over and over--15 times now--regarding the DDOS attack virus. It's the same message.

Seriously, 15? I sent that message once, but I've heard from people who got it 5 and 15 times. I have no idea what's causing it, unless a server somewhere keeps getting a "failed" message and is trying to resend it.

I made sure there were no e-mail processes running from my end, just in case.
