LL'll be in the corner with Platy. LL does not do change well. It frightens her, makes her nervous.

It also makes her refer to herself in the third person as well.

LL wants her pretty purple board back. She realizes you're working on it Penny, but she remains anxious.

The position of that option has moved -- it's now at the top of the screen and the second option available. You should be able to see it directly beneath the "Email & Password" change option at the top. Let me know if it doesn't come for you -- it does for me, but it might do so for admins only or something right now.

ETA: Guys, I'm begging you to read the whole thread before you repeat the questions. The purple already is back. You just have to reselect your forum style. You can do that at the bottom left corner of every page.

Cool. Things seem to be back on track! Thanks Penny. Just a question though, and it's no big deal or anything, but will we always have a mixture of Purple and blue? 'Cause I'm kinda digging on it right now. I makes things sorta stand out more.

I hate this. I really do. Ignoring the few blue bits that remain, I hate those new read/unread images, they're so damn bluky, and makes it hell to try and figure outs whats new and not at a glance. Also hate all the other new buttons that do not blend at all. Can we not replace those with the old ones that fit so much better?

I know that this update will mean things end up running better, but I'm at a loss. I really, really don't like it. Our board was always so much prettier than the rest, and now its well... not.

Off to sulk...

ETA: Also, this username thing at the top and not the side? *shudder*

I'm probably the only one who uses it, but on Opera the spoiler fonts are coming up in nice pretty colours for all to view and some of the borders are a little offset.

But otherwise its looks great.

Grrr... I too hate change. Change is not good. Grrr...

I see that the title of the latest thread posted to is displayed when you first come to ST. For that alone, it'd probably be a good idea to remind everyone in the strongest possible terms to keep spoilers out of thread titles. Or is there a way to make that not happen by personal preference?

And still, I like the old way.

Okay, by "whole world", I mean this board, but you get the message.

Joining the ranks of the "not good with change", but I'm sure I'll get used to it eventually. I can remember when vBulletin was a new thing, and I can remember mourning the loss of the pretty blue forum, so this too shall pass.

The nearest I can figure out is that the + means someone is posting or replying to someone.

Still tweaking. This version of vBulletin is extremely customizable, so I'm trying to massage it back to as close to the 2+ format as possible. But I have, you know, work to do in the meantime, so thanks for your patience.

I found the controls that re-enable custom user titles and get rid of the "Registered User" default for those who don't use one. They're near the top of your Edit Profile panel in User CP (second box down).

Checked this out from my testing account and it worked, so it should appear to all registered users now.

And in the spirt of learning something new, I also found out that the + next to a name shows that the person is on your Buddy List.
