1. The interview was with Chris Kane formerly of Angel. 2. They had been discussing Angel prior to this comment. 3. Everyone knows that the ME writers have stated they had a "pregnant actress" and they had to rewrite the entire season because of it. 4. To my knowledge, there isn't another show that had writers stupid enough to make that kind of comment. Ergo, 5. They were talking about Charisma and S4 of Angel. Not a giant leap in logic there. But, as Kit said, even if it wasn't about CC and Angel, the comment is offensive to women. Period. |

Depends on how little logic you have to begin with. I'm just sayin'...

LOL I have my DVR all set to record this tonight-- and I actually (shame on me) had no idea CK was from my neck of the woods (he's been doing so local interviews). As for the pregnancy thing-- good lord. I'm really quite baffled it got brought up by 2 random radio dudes so many years later. I'm so sorry that someone bringing a NEW LIFE into the world interfered in some way with a show you liked. Yeesh. Priorities, people, priorities!

Anyone else watch it?
I kinds liked it. I wanted to take a pair of scissors to CK's hair, but I like his part The part where they are watching Sophie in the play, reminded me of Angel and Wesley watching CC in HER play.

I liked the episode. I think CK's hair is much longer and looks better in the episode airing tomorrow night. I loved all of the characters, and especially Gina Bellman (BBC's Coupling). The ensemble cast was Hot to me. |

This is a really good show, I love the interaction between the group members. I also really love Tim Hutton, he's still got it after all these years. I had no idea Jane from Coupling was in this show, she's always entertaining.
My only negative at this point is that they keep having Christian Kane's character say stuff like "it makes a very distinctive sound" & "it's a distinctive style" I can't tell if it's going to be a running joke or just lazy writing to have him make the same comment within 15 minutes of each other. Other than that, it's a very entertaining show, and I really enjoy all of the characters.

For the first time, I actually *get* the CK obsession.
He was so neatly put together, I just wanted to rip his dress shirt open and mess him up some. And normally I look at him and think the boy needs a bath, so that's saying something. |

Ha, Sam, what you said! I finally caught a rerun of The Nigerian Job and lmao at CK as the IT guy speaking Klingon. I don't know how that actress kept a straight face thru all of that.
Timothy Hutton still does it for me. Rrrowl! Between him and CK I'm pretty much in TV heaven. |

I could get used to CK taking off fake glasses and unknotting his tie with such purpose, yish I can.

Oh my, yes! TH is wonderfully entertaining and well worth the price of admission He must have a portrait locked up in an attic some where; he looks as young as ever.

So many familiar faces!
Jane from Coupling! Voodoo from Friday Night Lights! and of course the aforementioned Lindsay from Angel! it is enough to make a girl's head spin..... I really enjoyed the 2 eps I've seen so far. I'm surprised at how much it made me laugh.

Oh, squee! CK's singing one of his original songs in the next ep! (Mildl spoiler alert)
And here's a fun, non-spoilery interview about his role. (Hint: he was influenced by Mr. T.) |

I have to say-- I am really loving this show. And the familiar faces keep coming! Last week we had Rolo Lambkin from BSG (am I butchering that name ?? I can never get it right). This week we have DB Sweeney-- "Toe Pick!" man himself!! (anyone else a Cutting Edge fan in the formative years? No?)

Man, I love me some DB Sweeney. I don't remember Toe Pick, but I remember Strange Luck, a show that I wish had run for a thousand years.
Leverage is just a hoot! Nice UST scene b/t Nate and Sophie in the most recent ep. And was the woman in the opening sequence (with the priest) Nate's first wife? She seems so innocent and unsophisticated -- not bad, just not what I expected. Especially in light of Nate's fascination with Sophie. CK just keeps cracking me up. "I'll leave you to your internal affairs" and "My nephew would love it. What? Just saying." LOL And Parker/Hardison is an obvious ship but a hilariously fun one. |
