It's interesting to see what the final product looks like after reading the sides. As originally written, the role and the episode were much talkier and considerably more maudlin -- "girlier," if you take my meaning. I also got the feeling that the script was expecting too much physically of a woman who hadn't moved voluntarily or spoken in eight years. I was hoping for some big revisions somewhere between page and screen, and they happened, emphatically. I wonder what Charisma's contribution might have been there.
