You know what really struck me while re-watching City Of...? Angel was a vampire, man. That's what made season one my favorite season. He got burned when he tried to run into the sunlight. He checked out the blood running down that one chick's forehead. He vamped out occasionally. He got injured a lot more. It was cool. I miss that.
