True Grit
A rarity in many ways:
- A remake every bit as good as the original
- A remake that isn't a carbon copy of the original;
- A remake that focuses on something different than did the original
- A remake that doesn't forget it's a remake of a very good original
- A Coen brothers movie that lived up to its hype
If you haven't seen it, I recommend it highly.
