"The Ennis-Brown House has been designated as a city, state and national landmark. It has also been designated as an official project of Save America's Treasures by the National Trust for Historic Preservation and is currently on the World Monument Fund's Most Endangered Site List sharing that distinction with other notable structures such as the Great Wall of China and the Quetzalcoaltl Temple in Mexico.
The Trust for Preservation is currently faced with a $1,000,000 shortfall which needs to be raised before they can commence work on the estimated $5,000,000 first phase of operations to structurally secure the house. With depleting funds, they are in a desperate race to save this historic landmark by the 20th century's greatest architect."
