I"m a librarian, and I consumed the first book via audiobook in February or March. I know it had been popular with teens in our library system, and I do enjoy YA lit. So I thought I'd find out what was going on.

I wasn't impressed. I didn't LOVE it, but I'm also not the true intended audience. There are some series I adore, though, so that's not always a hindrance. But with this one, I couldn't tell what caused the great popularity.

I will probably see the movie, though, even if it's just, via DVD because RP is pretty, KS is a good actress and Taylor (Jacob) appeared in a Robert Rodriguez movie. (I'm not quite enough of a movie geek, but those are my reasons.)
