It was changed for political correctness the same way the Washington Bullets changed their name to the Washington Wizards.
But then again, I don't see anyone changing the name of the
Guns of Navarone to just "Navaraone". Then again, those were literal guns, while I think Lee Horsley's guns were metaphorical.
