OMG, I tried to read the first Jennifer Armintrout book and I rolled my eyes so much I got a headache.
You're right, Syn. Sucky main character, sucky supporting characters and a plot that went no where.
I finally stopped trying to read it after the main vampire guy kept complimenting the main character during sex by telling her how sexy and adventurous and kinky she was because she was doing it with him
doggy style.
A much, much better vampire series is JR Ward's Black Dagger Brotherhood. I highly rec it.
