Avatar Invalid

Hi all, it's a pity this is my first post, but I have tried everything...
Anyway, when I try to upload an avatar it always comes up with invalid file, even though the file is 8kb and 99x99 pixels... What am I doing wrong?
I would love to be able to use my own avatar, so any help would be very much appreciated. Thanks for your time ❤

I'm having the same problem

Are you trying to upload from your computer or from an outside pic hosting url? Or both? Because I seem to recall it would let me do one but not the other. Just can't remember which one. LOL!

ETA: Looking at my avatar properties, it looks like I was able to upload from my computer because the url is an ST url. So try that if you haven't.

I was wondering if anyone else was having this issue or if i was just stupid, I guess i am not stupid.

I tried several image hosting sites and got the link and I've tried to upload from my computer. Both times it just tells me its invalid. I've even tried different image formats, no go.

I've uploaded successfully to forums before, including those powered by vbulletin, so why its not working I don't understand.

Could you copy and paste the error message and a copy of the URL from which you're linking, if you're linking? That will help me figure it out.

Thnkewdrvthru.

May have been a server issue on the ISP's end, then. Glad it worked out!

Ok, that was super weird, it went through first try this time, though I am on a different internet connection, probably a better one, still not sure why that would cause the problem but alas :wacky:
Anyway, thanks for replying so quickly, I'm just glad it's worked now ❤
