Oh, Andrea... Oh, Rick...

DamnSkippy 03-12-2013 01:03 PM

Did you blink and miss the sex? :corn:

Must have, unless you're referring to the Gov screwing both of them.

I liked the episode but maggie/Glenn sneaking off for a quickie, beth shooting a gun into the ceiling and Daryl riding through a bunch of meandering walkers had me screaming C'Mon Man!

Except for Beth, that's all happened before though. ;)

I had little interest in the prison goings-on. Rick and Phil, Phil and Andrea, Daryl and the other guy were all cool, Rick and Hershel at the end. But the rest... Well, when Merle makes more sense than anyone else, you have issues.

And I figured out what DS meant, but too late. :(

Yeah the Bike thing seemed more blatant this time, Daryl's just slowly rolling through the prison yard and the walkers are just standing there, they don't even turn to look. It just blew away my willing suspension of disbelief.

Agreed, I really enjoyed the Daryl/Martinez and Hershel/Milton bonding scenes. I liked how it highlighted the difference between the Grunts/Civilians (how they could learn to get along and related) to the ultimate fates guided by Rick/Gov.

I really hope Milton survives, somehow I doubt it. The scene with Milton/Gov at the end just spelled doom. Milton realizes the Gov has gone too far, if he takes action against The Gov, I think he'll get killed.

As for the Merle stuff, I don't know why but I got the impression that Merle is secretly working for The Gov. It's probably unlikely but there was something about the way he kept pushing people to leave that made me think he has some sort of deal with The Gov to save Daryl/himself...of course The Gov has no intention of honoring that deal. However, I could be totally wrong and Merle just thought an ambush was the best way to end the fight.

I'm not even sure where DS comes from. Can you help me out?

DS is me. He's talking about my comment about missing the sex. (I think).

I liked the episode for the most part. Mostly the two groups of pions getting to know each other. That's the first time I ever considered liking Martinez. I thought Maggie and Glen having sex right then was probably not prudent, but then I'm not in an end-of-the-world situation. Maybe you get it anytime and anywhere you can? I'm not sure why Andrea went back with the Gov when she just told Hershel she couldn't. Perhaps she thought if she did, the Gov would start more shit with the prison.

Can't wait for next week's ep!

Morrigan 03-13-2013 05:19 PM

Oh duh, I didn't realize he was referring to you, I thought it was another one of those text/facebook short cuts I didn't know. :erm:

Someone mentioned over at TWOP that maybe Hershel/Andrea had concocted a plan. I did noticed that during the departure they shared a nice long look and then Andrea gave a tiny nod. That could have been a OK, Plan B, nod or an, "I get it, we have to stop him" nod or maybe just a goodbye nod.

I'd prefer the first one

Yay! We're back! And just in time for me to say, "Oh, Andrea..."

DamnSkippy 03-20-2013 09:54 PM

I think my words were more like, "Oh, Andrea, you done stepped in some sh*t now." Let's hope Milton finds her before the Gov starts cutting off fingers.

Yeah, I'm pinning my hopes on Milton too. --->Sadly, the actor has a new series next season, so...<--- I was impressed with his solution to the biter issue and the F-U attitude he gave Phillip about it. We'll see.

And we're back :bounce:

Great episode on Sunday, I was engaged the entire time. The warehouse scene was very intense as was the final scene with Andrea in the chair. I love the way the show has been using music to set the tone at the end of the episodes, they'redoing a great job with that. I can't wait For Sunday!

The first warehouse scene had me convinced Milton was setting Andrea up. I was glad to be wrong.

Have you been watching The Talking Dead after the episode airs? They've had the guy who scores the soundtrack on playing a song from the episode. Very good stuff.

I watched for the first time last week and I thought it was pretty good so I added it to my DVR. Kind of late in the game but it should be fun when the finale rolls around.

DamnSkippy 03-24-2013 11:08 AM

I watch TTD and they said something last week that had me scratching my head. Is it only a bite that will cause you to turn into a walker (other than dying)? Scratching won't do it?
